There's no way FoS gets to us when Richmond has 6. They are tossing up between he and Lalor at 1, so they aren't going to pick Smillie over him at 6 surely.

and people want to split pick 8

Imagine Langford - Fos - Pou - NAS - Wilson - Gracia and so on

Although I would be surprised if either get to us

Carlton and Crows will take Draper and FOS in what ever order
Mate he means its Langford OR FOS. Not Langford AND FOS

No one in their right mind would even suggest splitting 8 if we could get 2 of FOS, Lalor, Jagga, Draper, Smillie, Langford

But unfortunately, that seems extremely unlikely now that Armstrong is sliding out

I think it’s Langford who lands with us.

But it seems Richmond are set on Smillie at 6.

There was a time where Langford was going pick 1 to the tigers too

There hasn’t been a single report of one of those top 7 projecting to slide to 8. So that would be why people are wanting to trade 8.
i would say thats the very reason someone will slide to 8 lol

2 days ago it was Smith getting through to 7

It was Draper before that LOL

There hasn’t been a single report of an 8th player rising into the top 7

You would be hoping Allan or Armstrong would fly up - but Richmond have that many picks they could trade for 8.

By all reports, Lalor goes 1. Tauru 2

FOS/Jagga/Draper go 3. MELB and Adelaide the two clubs above us that like Langford the most, but they like others more, including the guys from that trio. Melbourne happy with any of the 3 except Draper, but it seems he won’t get past Carlton and Adelaide

Richmond seem to like Smillie at 6 more than Langford
The point that needs to be noted in The Age article is that Tiger officials have a connection with Smillie via his junior club Park Orchards.

I’m convinced Tigers will take Smillie at pick 6 regardless of who is available.

As bizarre as it seems, if Blues are determined to draft Smith at 3 and Crows are determined to draft Draper at 4, then either O’Sullivan or Langford will slide to us. Depending on who Melbourne prefers.

If accurate, The Age article has put flesh on the drafting bones of several of the clubs intentions. Only Demons and Saints seem to be wildcards.

As incredible as it may seem, O’ Sullivan could slide to 7.

Single report from who ?

Most years there is at least 1 bolter

I would say there’s approximately 0% chance of that happening

Tauru is the bolter mate.

It’s been a big 6 all year with Reid Armstrong on the fringes and at times in the top 5.

But Tauru is the bolter who is seemingly going somewhere 2-7
so Reid and Armstong at times in the top 5 and Taura is the bolter ?

Every chance at least 2 get taken in top 8

People taking it as gospel all the phantom drafts by people we spend 99% of time saying these people know SFA

21. Hynes/Hannaford/Boxshall/slider
if we swap 8 for 13 and 21 someone at the club should be sacked
That would be as weak as p1ss from the Saints

For the majority of year it was FOS, Draper, Smillie & Trainor, then Smith came in, then Langford. Reid on the fringes and Lalor was often spoken of an unknown smokey around pick 5-8. Then Trainor dropped out, Tauru came in - but overall the same guys apart from those 2 talls switching are in the conversation.

Players also settle just as often as there are risers.

It’s been well documented on that 8-20 are very very even and there isn’t a consensus amongst that and each club would rate their board differently.

So I doubt someone unexpected goes 1-7 that allows to get 2 of Langford Draper fos Jagga or Smillie.

Our best case is one falls and then it’s up to us to decide if we want 1 of Allan or Reid or Armstrong etc.

Or try for 2 even if it means we get 3 and 4 on our board of that group as opposed to the kid we think is the best in that tier.
