I’d be stunned if we don’t end up with Langford

Would have been really interesting where Trainor would have been picked hadn’t it been for his concussions.

He would’ve been a top 10 pick

I'd prefer to trade into Richmonds later picks with our F1 - Shanahan/Trainor...use 7 and 8 on Langford and Reid/Allan.

I think there's only 2 real options with a 3rd being a long shot.

1. 8 & 32 to Richmond for 10 & 20ish

2. F1st to Richmond for 20ish

3. 8 & F1st to Richmond for 10 & 11
(With later pick swaps to make the Tigs feel better)

Things will chop and change all night but other options don't present value for both parties.

People taking it as gospel all the phantom drafts by people we spend 99% of time saying these people know SFA

It seems it has come about because Blair Hartley coached the U14s Park Orchards team where his son played with a kid who's Dad's cousin's sister had a one night stand with Shane Crawford who fkd the sister of a dude who's brother sold drugs to a science teacher who had an affair with the school nurse who's brother sold a kebab to the junkie uncle of a kid who played with Smillie in the Park Orchard's U9s team

I just think a F1 for pick 20 is crazy and hope we don’t do that. It’s only odds, but gee - we’re fifth last in betting. Tells you all we need to know about perceptions.

Number 1 would absolutely work. I can’t see Richmond doing number 3 in any scenario.

I think both in the top 8 instead of top 7 genuinely makes a big difference. It could be what a club is moving for in a trade for pick 8.

Probably not.

I think our pick 8 trade scenario really is only a reality if Tauru is still live @ 8 otherwise we need to take the slider @ 7 and Reid @ 8

Look at it as player targeting rather than the potential pick differential. Somewhere around p20 there may be a player we rate at 11 so it becomes worthwhile. If there's not then we won't do it.
