What if we take 8 and trade it for someone's pick 1 to 3 below us plus a future 2nd/3rd. Repeat multiple times. Amass a range of picks to improve next years.

Will changes to bidding next year mean that these picks are going to be more or less valuable?

We’re trying to improve our position this draft as next years is heavily compromised

Still valuable. Just not as powerful a tool as it has been the last decade.

Tauru & Langford are in contention for Melbournes pick 5.

Draper Langford Tauru for our pick 7.

Pick 8 is the beginning of tier 2 where you can throw a blanket over them from 8-15. Clubs all want Travaglia from that group.

Saints could split or even consider trading out for the right offer.

The second rounders probably become very valuable. Almost like shifting best value from 30s/40s to 20s/early 30s. Using F1, but holding two F2s may well get us back into f1 next year.

F3s are pretty well worthless with the new draft points. F2s are ok...
