Travaglia, Allan, Lindsay, Hotton all flankers only with some potential to play mid one day. We already have Mclennan, Hastie, Shoenmaker, O’Donnell, Hoffman (to be drafted), as long as we avoid them and stick to either genuine mids and key position/rucks, then all good.
Nah mate, Lindsay is a full-time mid. Lightly framed but he's Macrae 2.0

Feels like the only way we take Reid is if we get a teens pick. Unlikely at 8 given the talk around other names
Reckon you're right.

I don't know why, I'm just not keen on Trav.

I reckon our first goes to Draper/Reid/Smillie/Tarau for sure, if we can't get two of those blokes I think my next two would be Reid then Allan.

He could be the one we target with the trade in the teens if we grab Travaglia/Allan/Lindsay at 8. Still think Reid at 8 would be better though.

I am a Travaglia connoisseur

I’m a bit sus on his kicking (can be coached as it’s more decision making than execution) but everything else in his game is so appealing. His competitiveness makes me think he’s a safe bet to move into the mids

Competitiveness does not make a mid, it's just one attribute. We HAVE to stop taking flankers with our top end draft picks praying they become elite midfielders. It's truly about as St Kilda as it gets at this stage.

We have to have learnt our lesson by now, please 🙏

Who are you taking then? Reid? He’s not even in the conversation anymore at 8

If going off Misson said about suiting for games style he and Lindsay would be box seat for pick 8
Slider pick 7 one of those two p8

Before anyone claims Travaglia on Wednesday, I claimed him in June so he is off-limits

I thought everyone here wanted Murphy Reid at 8? What happened?
I was all for Tauru/Reid, but now there appears likely to be a slider and no Tauru, I'm on Slider/Allan.
Rewatched some Allan highlights and I think there's a pretty awesome ceiling there. And with Macrae and Slider joining Pou and Steele I think we can take our time with him learning the mid craft.

Random question about FS/zones.

If we have a FS prospect that is zoned to another club under the rubbish rules as they stand - which takes precedence? I.E. does the FS club get 1st dibs or the Academy club?

Allan could be the next Elliot Yeo but he could also be the next Sam Gilbert. Smillie also has a huge upside but also huge possibility to bust

Taking Smillie and Allan at 7 & 8 is just about the riskiest play we could make in that scenario

Player choice.

See Jeff Whites son who is tied to the suns zone

All what the player nominates. Nick Blakey is a good example - could have been F/S to North OR Brisbane, but was part of the Swans academy and chose them
