We're screaming out for pure A Grade mids. How Cal can't or won't realise this is amazing.

At the end of the day if the top 7 goes the way Cal has forecast my hope is that the club chooses only one of Tauru and Tobie. If it means we trade down to grab the next rung of mids so be it. But we need mids. Have been screaming for them for years.

He’s the guy I’d worry the most about in the top dozen being a bust. He did play a great quarter in one of the championship games I watched. It was funny because he wasn’t getting kicks just because he was bigger and stronger which impressed me, then he just went missing and did very little.

It didn’t scream midfield beast that’s for sure, anyway as with all of them once we pick them I just hope like hell they turn into stars.

I watched an interview a couple of days ago from the AFL website where Cal/Riley interviewed him and towards the end, they asked about him staying in Adelaide and he played a straight bat and then they asked what if you have to move interstate and he was a lot more jovial about that prospect of getting out of Adelaide.

So I think it's more a case of Sid Draper being turned off the Adelaide Crows or Adelaide environment, rather than the other way around.

So random question. Why all the shenanigans over who bids for Ashcroft/Lombard/Marshall? Yes it affects the points Brisbane/GC have to pony up, but its not like the Club who bids is actually any chance of getting that player, so why the too-ing and froing?
