Having an account on big footy and being team manager for the Under 9’s does not classify someone as ‘working in the afl recruitment industry’

I think a few in here might do well viewing some of the posts in the Draft Hub page.

A lot of balanced views from other club supporters acknowledging how poor the quality of the Top 6 mids are this year compared to other years, whilst similarly being quite effusive of our position in the Top 10 which usually peters off but contains better credentialled played then you would typically find.

A lot of strong support for a Trav and Tauru double, projecting what they can become and the skillsets they bring.

If there was ever a year to not go after a Top 5 pick strongly, it may have been this one....

Fool? You don’t like my opinion, no worries, but no need for insults. Just rebut it. We all want what’s best for the club.
Don't be so sensitive, the bloke was right. Surely you know that we've had more than enough time to compare Tarau and Arnstrong's respective AFL careers and come to a definitive conclusion about who was the better player at the highest level.

brother, cal wilkie was AA full back 2 centimetres shorter than tauru (who is probably still growing) and I've never seen cal more than a foot off the ground. To say that tauru is too short to be a KPD is just lazy

What I’m saying is this, we’ve got Hastie, Schoey, McLennan, Hoffmann (soon) all in that bracket of being a young 3rd tall. Taura might end up being a gun but we need mids.

There’s talk that he could make it as a forward but I’m saying I’d rather go for Armstrong if we wanted a forward because he’s been compared to Jeremy Cameron and is coached by Lloyd.

I’m saying we don’t need Tauru on our list, we need young mids that have the potential to be elite.

All good 👍🏼

Who should we get to take Wilkie's position next year? it appears with your addition to the brains trust it's clear he can no longer perform his role :*(

lol,

what you said was, and I quote "Tauru’s height will only allow him to be 3rd defender. Not a key position defender."

that's what you said

what you posted above is what you wish you said

but yeah all good

Reiwoldt was an out and out wingman but played key forward his whole career.

Tauru could be anything, not just a backman.

sure, he moves well, but has he played any midfield at all so far? People are saying Trav won't make it as a mid despite plenty of strong showings and a more mid-typical body, so the Tauru will be Fyfe 2.0 seems a bit of a reach atm.. but hey im open to it

Let's say we take Travaglia & Tauru, then where or how do we get our midfield fix? After all, it remains our biggest list weakness.

The only real option would be attempt to trade back in using our F1, and there is no garauntee that occurs. Plus, are the latter midfield choices worth it, and what is the most likely trade?

Pick #32 is too far out for the rated mids, but perhaps a Boxshall or Davis could be options there.

If one of the NGA's get bid on before 32, then we are stuffed. We will walk away from the trade/draft period without adding to our midfield.

Obviously, apart from Carroll & Peckett, who are both speculative.

My concern is we could have best defence in the competition, until we find elite midfielders we are teading water.
