There might be a few of us lamenting not having an earlier pick to nab a top end mid but reality is we’re going to add some seriously good young talent tonight and continue to build.
Hopefully they continue the trajectory of our early picks in years gone by and impact at senior level next year.

if we don’t get one of these elite mids I’ll be salty

You'll get the halfback flanker (Travaglia) and the bloke nobody's talked about at all for our picks (Hotton) and you'll like it mister!!

He is 187cm ..... even if you drafted him as a backline interceptor that ain't tall .... he is very skinny as well

Someone pointed out earlier that in reality at AFL level he likely becomes a defender who covers the smaller forwards ... he is not big enough for key position and I don't think he is tall enough for that true interceptor role

He won't become a mid because there will always be players that are better than him in that position

He would be our new Webster or at worst our new Paton

So do use a top 10 pick on that type of player?
Rigid focus on the player isn't the right view point. Take the group of Trav, Hastie, Ari and Hoff and think about how that looks.
