Not sure what your point is

My post was who Adelaide could have drafted using SA based players who were the first players selected after their pick.

In 2015, Adelaide's last pick was 16 - Doedee. Next SA pick was Burton.

Dawson was the seventh SA based played picked after Doedee.

They could've made room for any player they thought was going to be ok

Its double dipping wait and see if they turn out good then try and lure them home.

How the Adelaide teams keep throwing up their interest in every quality player available forever and a day is getting annoying now. Hope they both eventually end up with average squads and a bursting cap only to then have their best up and comers poached by other clubs. They are absolute scabs and make no secret about it.

Do they officially , I mean we supposedly chased Naughton , interest in JUH etc, so who cares

I'm backing you for a podium finish , but worried what will happen in early September when the crazies go to another level

Hey if we have selections early we will but I’ve been good so far thank you lol

That's all been the last 3 or 4 years over various threads, last years draft thread was a big one. Luckily I thought we did most things I wanted in the off season so I'm fairly quiet for now.
You don’t have to explain yourself crazy

Said it before but I'm really impressed with how efficient the club's been with it's deals so far. We've gotten in early, prioritised who we needed to prioritise and closed accordingly. Going into this year there was much talk about this ominous challenge the Swans had in front of them to get the deals done. Now we're only five weeks in and two of the big three have been taken care of, with the third apparently not far away. It feels almost anti-climactic from a frenzy, stress-level perspective. Almost like Beatson & co want the draft and trade thread to fail!

Side note - a very reliable source in player management (not pertaining to the Swans) told me that the later in the year a deal is done, the more it's about the money. Anyone signing a contract between January-April ain't doing it for the dollars. If this is the case for us then it's even more encouraging. Although I'm sure in Gulden's case he is still doing just fine...

I hope we re-sign Hayward but if he leaves, there's a little chatter about Liam Baker being available. He'd be a great get even if not exactly like for like.

Baker is one of favourite non Swans players.
