Sam Frost (former GWS academy) and Kobe Ryan, 2 young inside mids (22 and 20) who made SANFL team of year. Wouldn't be surprised if Frost gets another crack at it in particular, he's a bigger unit than Ryan.First 504 nominations for the draft:

I love that there's a Lucas Snowball.First 504 nominations for the draft:
Playing on a wing I believe. Good athlete and endurance runner. Always has been. Decision making lets him down. Be surprised if he gets picked up, even as a rookie or SSP, but wish him well, like every ex-Swan.James Bell has nominated, been very good at Glenelg. Just to put that thought into your minds.

This trade was covered off as a win for the Crows earlier but it’s worth revisiting for the disappointment it ended up being for the Swans.
Sydney lost Jordan Dawson, then used the future pick in a trade in 2022 for pick 27 – Cooper Vickery, who was delisted without playing a game – and future second and third rounders from Hawthorn.
The Swans offloaded those two futures in minor deals, while the Hawks used the pick gained to grab Josh Weddle.
The Swans got little return, while two other players are forging strong careers elsewhere."
Big yikes.
Weren't those picks part of the deal that enabled us to get Grundy and still match Cleary?"Worst: 2021 – Sydney gets: 2022 R1 (tied to Melbourne), Adelaide gets: Jordan Dawson

Yeah, don't see him being picked up.Playing on a wing I believe. Good athlete and endurance runner. Always has been. Decision making lets him down. Be surprised if he gets picked up, even as a rookie or SSP, but wish him well, like every ex-Swan.

Yeah, without Grundy we may not have been good enough to get humiliated in a grand final.Weren't those picks part of the deal that enabled us to get Grundy and still match Cleary?
This is why I don't care about draft picks for established players. Absolutely no guarantee you'll get anything in return"Worst: 2021 – Sydney gets: 2022 R1 (tied to Melbourne), Adelaide gets: Jordan Dawson

I don't disagree, but there generally aren't other options. The days of trading a player for a player seem in the past, so there's not much you can do except taking picks. If you can turn those picks into established players via another trade then that is ideal as at least you know what you're getting for the picks, unlike at the draft. But even if you take it to the draft, it is swings and roundabouts. This is why I don't care about draft picks for established players. Absolutely no guarantee you'll get anything in return
Late birthday too... we love that unseen developmentOugh sounds kinda like what we need
I'm just assuming we'll live-trade our first pick, like we did back in 2022 with Hawthorn
Richmond? Picks 23 and 24 for 19 and 44. That would give us a block of three picks in a row and give them another double block in the 1st round. They could probably let both go for future 1sts, 23 and 24 might not be high enough to get future 1sts

This is going to catch up to us eventually
The trade was fine (or the best we could do for an uncontracted player nominating one club) until we overlooked Weddle and pissed the rest of the picks away
Everyone gets up and arms about the Weddle thing it was a terrible draft go through the first round there’s probably 5 decent blokes in the first 25 picks. Yes the Hawks lucked out it happens. The trade allowed us to have the picks for Grundy
