I just don't get the Hayward "he is replaceable". Replaceable with whom.
We are in premiership mode and people want to get rid of Haywood, Florent, McDonald for a lot of picks etc just reading a few posts over the last few days. I think complacency has crept into the minds of a few posters here. They think we will win a premiership without these so called "replaceable" players.
As Longmire says always, premierships are hard to win. Some posters eagerly giving away potential premiership players for a few picks like they are easily replaceable.

Just dumb imo.
Maybe replace Hayward with Magor. He is our medium forward in the magoos.
Maybe replace Florent with Vickery.
Maybe replace McDonald with Buller or Reid when he gets fit.

Agreed. I can only think of two players who could replace him - the fritter and Ollie Henry. Beyond those two any replacement of Hayward will be a downgrade. It's almost as if people are calling for a downgrade and think that it somehow would benefit us.

Where Zurhaar might come into play for instance? No-one else on the FA list is very exciting.
At the moment we don't have a one-for-one replacement. Not even close. Hayward is taller than you might think and faster. If we're in the window a draft kid is not much use unless it's Harley Reid and even then....

Surely we can find a forward that won’t snap the ball from 35m right in front off a set shot and miss. The others I don’t see many advocating losing. If Hayward gets us let’s say hypothetically band 2 it could be a win-win.

Not in a premiership window. You get a late first or second round kid who might be decent in three years time. Fine if you're building but a waste if you're contending unless you have a ready made replacement on your list. We don't.

FWIW if I'm their manager I'm never admitting that they only want to stay with the Swans. You'd lose almost all remaining leverage you have

I would look for a trade like this. A real hard defender who can take small and mid sized forwards. Harden up our back six.

We don’t need to get another player and there’s heaps of that type. If it’s a choice between keeping Logan/Errol I know what I’m taking. We also have Chad next year too to consider. As for players would be happy to go after Reef from the Pies for one, could also you know go smaller in the forward line which is still my query going forward the 3 talls seem very tall I know Logan is mobile but he’s still a tall

I don't want Hayward to go, nor Florent. I don't want to lose anyone in that 100+ game bracket, lest we end up back on the youth hamster wheel. But they were never going to be as much of a priority as the other three. Once that trio are signed hopefully we can work something reasonable out for Florent & Hayward.

Difference is McIness actually kicks straight and yes I’d rather him. Xavier ohallaran from GWS another. Just get someone that won’t take snaps from 30 and miss as usual from Hayward. No reason Konstanty (or whoever is best in the reserves can’t come in). We saw Pickett be instrumental in Melbourne’s flag. Does not need to be a player from another club.

I don't think they will Punts. I think as Rowbottom said in a clip today or yesterday that you can go elsewhere but the synergy would not be the same and he said the side is ready for something special. Or words to that effect. The players that want premierships will stay.

Not really $1.1 is about right for Errol who is by far and away our best player. You’d expect Logan is say 750k which is about par for a key tall with incentives
