Port are just mentally fragile. They need external motivation to perform anywhere near the level. Hinkley job not on the line. Players not under fire. About 10 players who applied the defensive pressure of their lives last week have hardly touched it.

We overthought every single play in the first half last week, tried to do too much each time and got caught holding the ball about 100 times. That’s what killed us. Sydney just taking them on, taking the chances, first option, and it’s paying off most of the time. Put Port on the back foot and they doubt themselves .

Experience for us I guess , hurts to see them getting well beaten tonight h though.
