Certainly opens up the possibility of a bye flip early. I wonder if the extra trades might be more useful bye flipping in rounds 12-15 though. Get more bang for your buck then as we're often only just making the 18 on field then. That shouldn't be an issue in the early rounds.

What do you think?

I'm guessing some of the podcasters talking up player flipping, had inside knowledge

Allows us to take a gamble on players like Fyfe and Yeo .....and yes Zilliams

Call me old fashioned ....but IMO, the Club logo should always be above the sponsors logo, and of equal size

Thin edge of the wedge otherwise .....soon the club logo will be an incidental

It does for me.

Having a few extra in the bank to use does make me less reluctant to pick R0 players, in particular I’m more inclined to pick players on that last early bye

Cant see how people plan to flip. Even with 2x week in fantasy it's very hard to flip. Means you can't have missed any rookies or copped at injury that week. Alot has to go right to even be able too.

I can see a theory where you start with Coll, Syd, Melb and Rich(?) players and switch them with GCst GWS Carl and Bris players between those rounds.

Definitely does - don't think I'll be doing anything crazy like bye flipping in the first six rounds, but will be starting some more injury prone players (hello Fyfey) as we have the early trades to flip them if they fail.

Plan will still be to boost to a full premo team from round 5/6 onwards. Then, whatever trades left can be allocated to bye flipping, 23rd (24th!!) premo and injury trades for the ride home.
