Todd Marshall (hip) and Kane Farrell (hamstring) will be tested throughout the week, while Lachie Jones is expected to exit concussion protocols on Friday, making him eligible for selection.

Connor Rozee is recovering from a corky to the hip pointer, which had him sit out part of the final quarter on Saturday, but the captain is expected to be available.

Ruckman Ivan Soldo is progressing well with his knee recovery and has been back running over the past fortnight, while small forward Jed McEntee has entered concussion protocols after a head knock during Sunday's SANFL game.

When McEntee got a concussion, must have copped an elbow from the guy handballing.

Jesus they bloody call concussion on any small hit these days. Agree it looks like a stray elbow might've split him open but how in the world did that concuss him?

I'll still be shocked if Marshall plays this week too.

Anyone looking at that Port Magpies result from Alberton on the weekend has every right to be ill. ****ing disgraceful result which means Port will probably finish bottom of the SANFL ladder for the first time since when? ****ing hang your head in shame David Koch. If this happens then it happens on your watch Koch and you should do the honorable thing and resign and take Hinkley, Davies and Richardson with you.

I am not surprised that a player or two is ill, should be widespread vomiting at Alberton.

Todd is out. As expected.

Rozee's hip is ok. Jones returns from concussion, Farrell back from his hammy. Todd Marshall didn't come up.

Todd Marshall will be assessed this week for a possible return as he recovers from a hip injury. Marshall sustained a hip strain during the Gold Coast clash but has been back running over the past week and is expected to join full training on Wednesday.

Jed McEntee is progressing through concussion protocols and should exit later this week, while Ivan Soldo is also getting closer to a return.

Sam Powell-Pepper completed his first run on Monday, just 12 weeks since undergoing surgery to repair his ACL.

Injury update
Todd Marshall (hip) - test
Jed McEntee (concussion) - in protocols
Ivan Soldo (knee) - 1-2 weeks
Jeremy Finlayson (spleen) - season
Sam Powell-Pepper (knee) - season

Given SPP is back running, could he be ready to play come finals? Or is that just a pipe dream?

Let's say he is ready, would the AFL allow it since we put him on lti list to draft L. Evans mid-season?
