Myself and my wife have both just had our annual interstate memberships renewed. Won't attend any games, but will support the club no matter who they trade, delist, sack or give away.
Personally I think that attitude is timid & dull
' i care as in membership, but I don't care how the club runs it, whatever they do.
Just accept.
Nahh, never been that way for me in anything.i do.

Chimped, champed and chumped. Be honest, you’re devastated.
I mean… They’re probably all accurate…

Have decided not to purchase a membership next year. And will likely watch the Pies games wtf, to see Josh & Nick Daicos lacing it out to Tim Membrey. More joy in watching that than our rabble. Wasn't like he was keeping a kid out. Just realised how truly gutted I am with the Battle & Membrey exits.
I’ve just purchased two memberships. One for me and one for “Marching In”.

Why don't you get another one for GT ? - sounds like he might have burnt his after the Jones signing

I should think he might be back peddling on those words - especially if Crouch retires

I'm all for the deep cuts but 10 - 11 out the door is about as deep as I think I would like to go

Me too. Imagine your multi-decade loyalty to a club hinging on retaining a slowing-down 30 yr old player with the list spots so valuable.
We left home a year ago on our drive around the world. After Australia, Timor Leste, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia, we will get to Europe in 18 months or so. If by then we are winning, I will message you to watch a match.

You think our attitude of supporting the club is timid and dull, yet you slam the club for being aggressive and trying to bring in new, young players from the draft. Work out exactly what it is that you want, or is this simply complaining and grandstanding for the sake of it.

19 games, 30 goals, on par with his career ave. 2nd in the goalkicking award, what's slowing down about that?. At least get some facts before you sprout you're slowing down made-up BS.
Sprout?
you're?

We're you're inglisch lessens at scool trormatic?

And having a go at Barrels when the bloke is just trying to educate you, show some gratitude ffs!

Tim Membrey served us very well over the years, but we now need list spots, and his part of the ground is well covered. We tried trading him, not one club bit - what does that tell you?

LOL!

Right, so after all the fruity decisions our club has made over the decades you stayed steadfast - though no doubt constantly grumbling objectionably in the background - but the ONE decision that has finally broken your belief in the club is deciding not to extend a veteran's contract, when his presence limited the development of younger players like the Starman and Hammer?

So long.

Who said barrack, I said I'd watch Collingwood games to see how Membrey goes. And i did add wtf, meaning why am i having to do that? You know what bothers me the most these days, is that, someone like yourself, with less than a monkey's brain comes here & interprets my message incorrectly.

This thread is the best of times and the blurst of times.

Just saw this listed on fb marketplace for the bargain price of $10. How unfortunate...

The fact that our club would make that just about sums up why we were in the AFL wasteland for a decade. The biggest achievement our list management team can claim there is getting Essendon to pay Gresh enough for band 2 compo. Ironic thst it's a jigsaw because no one could put those pieces together. $10 is very pricey, I'd hate to think of the price the seller paid originally.

Get in early. It could become totally worthless in the near future. Tony Elshaug is repotedly very keen. It is his "Magnum Opus".

People actually spell checking others on here for entertainment, Wtf. That's seriously low level behaviour. The man/child. Thought they went extinct years ago.
We don't actually do it for entertainment, you know. We do it because it's a little annoying that a grown man can make so many mistakes that a child grows out of at age 10. We all mistakes, so it's no big deal, but it's irritating to read and diminishes the effect of the writing. It speaks to a person who hasn't read much, rightly or wrongly. Phones and computers have spellcheckers but loads of errors slip through, like using good words badly, and getting common expressions wrong (eggcorns).

Frankly, you seem to get more entertainment out of annoying people who care about spelling standards, which is weirder.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy Collingwood's 2025 season: I hear they're on the up!

Not that I really care about people correcting my spelling as I’ve done fine in my life, but I’ve got a wiring issue in my brain which makes spelling just about impossible. I’m well read and educated, I just can’t visualise anything in my mind. Schooling, Uni and early work I was made to feel like an idiot for my spelling.

Just like passing judgement on anyone you don’t know, you don’t know what’s going on in the background.

If you understand what they’re saying, then it’s all good! If you get annoyed then the problems with you!

(Thank god for autocorrect, or this post would have been a very funny post)
