So what’s all the talk about getting him this year ? That would involve us trading picks , which we really can’t afford to doNext year

If he’s going to leave this year then we are either in the game or miss out altogetherSo what’s all the talk about getting him this year ? That would involve us trading picks , which we really can’t afford to do
Agreed . Can’t see north improving that much in 2025, so if they finish 17 or 16th they’d be throwing away pick 3 or 4.I really don’t see why North would let LDU go this year. He’s a guaranteed band 1 which in all likelihood looks like a top 4 pick. I can’t see them getting better offers than that this year. They also need good mature players more than they need draft picks, they’ll want to do everything they can between now and his contract expiry to convince him to stay.
If we are a chance it would be better waiting the year, we aren’t a chance next year but a lot can happen between now and then.I really don’t see why North would let LDU go this year. Probably Eddie BettsWho is the best specialist small forward not playing afl? I just want goal sense.
Exactly who they should look for as the squad literally has no crumbers/opportunist forwards other than Rankine on the list, I still say Eamon Wilkinson from South Adelaide is that player but doubt Ogilvie and co. will look at anyone other than Toby Murray and then maybe some undersized/malnourished looking 19 year old halfback from vic country that they’ll say was desperately unlucky not to be taken in last years draft as they had him high on their rankings and have been watching him for a long time ect.Who is the best specialist small forward not playing afl? SSP (Post-rookie draft, pre-season start)Wasn't Nick Murray mid season?
Some nice numbersI think he does. I wouldn't mind Kobe Ryan from Westies if we're willing to take a Sanfl player:

2025Ldu is a restricted fa?
We should be going hard then. Quality mids is what we lack the most. Offer him well overs.

I think he was laughing at the upset posters. Collingwood don't care much either way.Yep, let's all laugh at those idiot premiers
Port have played Jed McEntee for far too many games
Given he’s still on a list and Turner didn’t last another year, but rich to be laughing at posters. Especially when he follows it up with posts stating there’s been no MSD players have a decent careerI think he was laughing at the upset posters. Collingwood don't care much either way.
The point was that the premiers saw fit to give a player a crackI think he was laughing at the upset posters. Collingwood don't care much either way.
Tbh, not a pure small forward but a guy that just knows where the goals are is Lachy Hosie at Glenelg. He would be worth a punt imoWho is the best specialist small forward not playing afl? I just want goal sense.
The club’s face is 95% egg at this stage now anywayThe point was that the premiers saw fit to give a player a crack
Didn't work out in this case but it's what good clubs do
John Noble did
Turn over every stone
Posters don't want the AFC to take 3 players in the midseason draft because there are DEFINITELY 3 absolute stars there begging to be picked
And it's no egg on the club's face if the players we take end up not making it
I was impressed with Patrick Weckert from Woodville West Torrens when they were on TV the other week. Only 19 I think and was marking everything and kicking straight from 50. Looks like he's chosen footy over cricket. One thing is key: selecting an older mature age player is NOT the move (so don't draft the Brett Turner types)
Of the MSD picks to have played more than 30 games, only 1 was over the age of 22 when drafted (Pickett)
Where is this 'Pedlar out for the season' chat coming from? I've seen it a couple of times now, but there doesn't appear to be a source. One more spot for the MSD with Pedlar out for the year
