In fairness to Big Cam , we are still in talks with Crows to slide back, apparently......lots would still be being discussed.

Tigers have always thought they've held all the sway in North moving....cant blame them with the circle suck from the media(Richmond Numpties) talking the up the whole time and doing their bidding for them.

I prefer our way.....say not much and see what happens
Unless crows can find a way to get another top 15 pick to come with pick 4

They don’t need to bother calling

I like Tauru but not enough to miss out on fos without another first rounder being included

You realise it's inappropriate when quoting posts from other boards to include the posters names right? Maybe the North board does it different but we would get a warning for that.

Secondly those guys your quoting are all FOS fans, we have just as many who think he is being overated big time based on last year.

Hoping like hell we stay far away from any of your proposed trades. Rather we keep 6, 10 & 11 to ourselves. If we get who we want then use picks later for any teams knocking on our door.

Good luck on Wednesday, hope you get FOS.

No one cares what your low IQ fans think mate.

Well I'm confused. Saints board seem to think the draft drops off a cliff after pick 6, yet we have Richmond fans in here telling us it's actually very even between 2 and 24.
I actually think the bargains in this draft come late first, early second round.
someone will end up looking like a genius picking up a Whitlock so late in the piece.

yes except shanahan >armstrong

seems cal has cottoned on to that also and has jobe going ahead

VFL form > Coates League form as far as I'm concerned. I'd be taking Jobe over Armstrong as well.

Not sure if this **** stick posts on BF, but if you want a giggle over lunch have a look at some of the absolute tripe he puts out there under the guise of “working in the industry….

i feel so much dumber for having read that and the replies

He sure was. That doesn't change the year he just had. Alarm bells for me, looks like a lack of professionalism/desire. I don't think there's a chance Richmond gamble on him at one, so up to us. We absolutely can not afford another first round bust.
Rightio. So getting injured, not doing a preseason is now a lack of professionalism/desire = new whipping boy.
Looked to me like FOS was playing injured in the CTL and champs, very underdone.
He showed what he can do in the Tigers VFL game against men.
Possessions mean little if you don't create damage from them.
I'm looking forward to seeing him if we take him after a full preseason. It's pretty exciting to add a kid with his skill, class, tenacity and athleticism (20m < 3 secs, top 10 in agility, top 10 in RVJ, 2km 6:28).
Ít's going to be a match up nightmare for opposition teams. Get excited Junky.

Good point.

Incidentally, maybe we trade our F2 + F3 to Essendon with the purpose of landing Trainor and Sims?

FOS, Trainor, Sims and Stevens would be well-rounded draft from a list needs perspective.
WCE might put their F2 on the table for one of those picks, think they still have it, so it might take our F3 as well.
But think we'd be able to get one of 28 or 31 at least, even if its costs a F2 and F3.
But the one thing might be whether we'd agreed to a trade with another team in the teens with our F1.
We couldn't move both the F1 and F2 unless we get another one of them back in the trade.

Even though there is no Harley Reid , it is full of elite mids. It is a super draft

The desperation for it to be a super draft!!

Like every draft:

There are 4 - 5 elite mids
Academy or F/S in the top 5 picks
1 or 2 key defenders in the 1st 12 picks.
1 or 2 medium defenders in the 1st 12 picks
1 or 2 Medium/Key forward

Is this the 1st draft you have paid attention too?? 1 day out every draft is amazing!!

This is the only board saying it's not a superdraft.

Maybe this had already been discussed, but why wouldn’t we bid on Levi Ashcroft at 2?
I don't get it. Teams seem to be very nice. It's not like we'd get pick 27 off them because we can't offer them any points gain this year to go with the not bidding bonus. AFL you'd think would be watching any side deals, but they say that every year and nothing really happens. Even more bizarre if no bid comes until Dees pick 5/6.
