Season collapsed some time ago, kids showed a lot.

Sometimes fate is crueller than a July Carlton training run

Well I know kemp should have kicked that goal but hes only just starterd playing that role in senior level and today with so much pressure..unfiortunately he shanked it

but if he was put forward more often during the season....maybe he would have been a little more relaxed

magnet need to be moved around and game style needs tinkering...

We had basically 0 selection choices last couple of weeks. We just played whomever was fit.

If we'd picked a debutant in Moir and he stunk it up, it would have looked like a complete dumbass move.
Yet Moir played last week and Fanta gets the nod ahead of him having not seeing him for ages to make it a total of 4 small forwards….

Moir at least should have subbed on half way through the 3rd, if not at half time!

Is there a legitimate, good faith reasoning for why we consistently make the same systematic errors? How we would bomb it long into the 50 even once this game just does not compute for me at all.
It just feels so unbelievably stupid that I can only put it down to me missing something.
The reason we make so many errors is carlton think it can win a premiership with pure contest and pressure, when the evidence suggests great transition is also required, underpinned by a list with some great disposers of the ball, with great leg speed. Our list is unbalanced and half as good as most supporters think it is

Getting flogged at the Gabba in two weeks isn’t really that appealing anyway.

I am totally shattered and feel like something has been ripped out of me even though i didnt expect the win with our outs.

Even if Port win the Lions will smash us anyway and just end the pain now. Making finals on the back of others faltering is not real tempting. We bow out now we get a non finals fixture for next season and IF we stay healthy who knows what could happen.

Our best 22 is a flag winning one but this year the footy gods have shat on us. Surely we are due a change of luck?

Hurt will still be there for a while but it is not like any of us are not use to it.

Sports just rip your heart out 99% of the time. 😏😩

Voss is rapidly turning into Teague mark 2, plays the same blokes week in week out, doesn't trust the young blokes, Teague stifled development only played mates; Voss won't play any first or second year players, until he just had to, but when push came to shove to get Moir on, he took off a midfielder!!! FFS

I’m very relaxed. As much as I love this club I don’t really care if Port win or not. Kemp miss sums up or season. If we had kept some composure and intensity across the last couple months, this wouldn’t be an issue.

Looking away from the result, Binns and Lord can play. Well. Makes you question the selection board if we’ve had our stars hobbling for weeks prior.

Brisbane fans around the country would be pissed with the thought of having to play Freo as opposed to a bunch of U15’s.

Same old rinse and repeat carlton supporter who goes the senior coach.
I suggest directing more scrutiny on Head of fitness, list management and the lack of a strategic assistant. Above all the president should be held to account for the shambolic review he undertook that did not fix any of those problems
The head of high performance is going. Hopefully Lloyd is going with him. Maybe Agresta as well as he's not been identifying many good quality recruits lately.

Who's ****ing idea was it not to put HoK and Doc on the LTI and go into the MSD with 3 picks. Lord is a good pick up. But we also needed another KPD and a medium sized forward. I don't care if Doc is going to be available for finals.

The way things are going over here in WA, we're not going to be playing finals this year.

I don’t think it would…it would show initiative, positive attitude & clearly faith in our talent.
Why have a draft of youngsters if u r to scared to play them.
We have passengers who do SFA & yet continually get picked ahead of potential talent which may never get recognised

People are going to shred Kemp for that miss but he’s a makeshift forward who hasn’t played forward at AFL level all year until last week

Little wonder his technique failed him under pressure. Hope the club gets around him

Can’t fault the effort and kids were great.
Lack of a release kick late really hurt us - none of TDK/H/Curnow to make those down the line contests 50/50s. Pittonet can’t be first ruck at AFL level if he is completely useless outside the ruck contest

Won’t watch the Port game and tbh club has a lot of thinking to do over summer - especially in the conditioning department

Our defence from stoppage been rubbish all year and bit us in the ass when we needed it most. What a choke 🤮
