its sliding way more this year than last for example so it does matter.

the pick is fine IMO but we need something back
It doesn’t matter because pick 28 in this years draft might be equal to 15 last year or 40 next year.

he came third in their b&f. the pick is projected to be 31 by the time its taken. hes 28, not 32. be a little realistic !

He'll be 29 before he plays a game for us. How he voted in their b&f is irrelevant, he's leaving for personal reasons, we're not contending and he's only a nice to have for a couple of years. Talk is that we're extending his deal to 4 years, that too is madness. Without him we got Tex, TT, Fog, Keays and Rachele as a starting 5. We've then got pick 4 coming to the club plus Curtin and other young mids and Rankine that we need to be able to rotate through there. He'll make us better short term but at the cost of developing a contending squad, we should be paying only the bare minimum. If he stays, goes to Port or retires, it'll have not negatively impacted our next contending period one little bit.

Tom Morris off the cuff on Furnace - we’re open to splitting 4

Still just can’t see it happening, though
Lol, has he missed all our club officials saying we are taking #4 to the draft.

We don't have spots for another pick either.

What a numpty!

Its not irrelevant at all.... we dont even have a list spot for that pick so i wouldnt get my knickers in a knot

Still think 28 is way overs.
Given our list spots situation (self inflicted) it's really not the end of the world.
If we could get a pick 50 odd back for points for Welsh that works.

Then next year go after Goad as a ruck prospect, and Wanganeen-Milera with our first round pick.

If we start being a consistent finals team players like Wanganeen-Milera, Phillipou, Sharp (assuming he gets drafted interstate) might look as coming home being an easy decision.
