Not trying to be an elitist or whatever but it blows my mind that people spend enough time here to know others' posting styles across usernames, etc.

If someone changes their avatar I basically forget who they are.

Oh yeah that’s exactly what someone who was pretending to be an oil worker from Texas would say to put everyone off the scent….

Geez this ANB guy might be okay
i assume he's one of those guys who is absolutely fantastic for a club as a footballer and will never get proper attention outside of it. plays his role week on week, causes no trouble and makes those around him better. worth their weight in gold.

I was away for a while- where is Sanders?

Yes but his answer to why he chose us.
Nothing wrong with accepting the best offer.

It would have beed perfectly ok to have said...

"My family's here and I barracked for the Crows as a kid and Crows tabled a better offer so it was a no- brainer"

That would have been perfectly acceptable, even though I don't see anything wrong with what he actually said.

He should have added "That, and I ****ing hate Port Power".... 🤣🤣

Interview today where they said protecting pick 4 is like their most important thing lmao try harder

Yep, we are definitely going with pick 4.

The draft pick strategy is fairly simple this year. All we are doing is
Using pick 4
Have enough points for Welsh
Upgrade Keane

Anything else will be surplus to requirements so I expect we would be looking to improve our 2025 draft hand.

We can ask... I doubt the AFL would agree, but we can definitely ask.

Today's news from Silver probably renders it a moot point anyway. We now know that we're only taking 2 picks in the ND - pick #4 and (presumably) Welsh. It's unlikely that matching a Welsh bid will require a pick inside the top-40.
Do you know what happens if nobody bids on Welsh and we get to take him in the RD? As in do we then need to take another pick or promote someone else to achieve our minimum 3 selections?

Where were Silvers’ comments reported?

It all gets a bit weird but I think we’d need to just take him with our next available national draft pick, as at that point we wouldn’t have a vacant spot on the rookie list.

Reckon someone on here said Ned knew he was getting delisted but doesn’t want to play sanfl.

Heard Ned interviewed a few weeks back - he seemed very comfortable with his lot

Has plenty of opportunities outside footy and was just happy he had the chance to have a shot.
