My recollection is that Judd did get penalised, or at the very least that Caro & others absolutely teed off on him

I was mostly responding to feenix. There have been a few attempts today to say "here's an incident from over a decade ago that didn't get fined, the world has gone mad!"

Sounds like GWS negotiated these suspensions and fines. But frankly Fahey should seek his own lawyer and take the AFL to court because that suspension is the biggest load of bullshit and I suspect they wont be able to hide behind disrepute in open court since it actually was not illegal, youd see most skits in offensive comedy. The media should demand better from the AFL as we all know they wouldnt be seen suspending any victorian club players in similar circumstances.

Bottom line not illegal there for the AFL has no grounds.

That said, if we’re taking another player, it makes trading 46 for a F3 even more puzzling

Sure, bit I'm assuming the rumour is referring to actual delistings, rather than players who will be re-drafted.

THE AFL has ordered Collingwood forward Jordan De Goey to make a $10,000 charity donation as punishment for his drunken brush with the law in the US. Collingwood stood down De Goey in October after it emerged the 25-year-old had been arrested for his involvement in a drunken incident in a New York nightclub.

The incident was being arrested for groping women which he then repeated in Bali 7 months later and not once was he suspended.

Yeah I’m pretty sure we can choose to upgrade Keane after the ND, if we wish to do so, so that works

You can get punished by your workplace without doing anything illegal.
