The game at this level has gone passed him …Parker has been crap
In our club he’s the 2025 Syd Barker winner

& let’s go for that wooden spoon againHere we go
Our grand final
Trade period
Get premiership players Parker, darling, Daniel
A small forward cheap
Hit the draft
But he never did because he never played in a GF! But thanks to Parker and their other leaders Parker actually did!!Junket time goals that even Ayden Bonar would kick …
Hopefully a couple more than thatHere we go

By contributing to a handful of opposition goals? Thought he had a mare.I hate Nick Blakey. I hate him, playing like John in 1998 today.
Seemed to do pretty well in a couple of finals games but obviously in a very good team.I don't mind Morris but he really hasn't been that impressive this year to warrant the lamenting around here today
Shut up ****. No one is placing their ‘hopes and dreams’ on Luke Parker. No one expects him to come in and be our best player. It’s a bit more nuanced than that… He’s clearly being brought in as a standard setter on the track and to mentor Wardlaw. (Now departed Liam Shiels had this role last year for what it’s worth)We are a pathetic bunch … now we will base our hopes & dreams in the preseason on a 32 year old guy that kicks 3 goals in absolute junket time whilst being completely unsighted & out of his depth for the entirety of the GF ?!
Idiots. We are a pathetic bunch … now we will base our hopes & dreams in the preseason on a 32 year old guy that kicks 3 goals in absolute junket time whilst being completely unsighted & out of his depth for the entirety of the GF ?!
Idiots.
We are not basing our success on him.
We are basing our success on the kids we have, the foundation that’s been set, and adding a hard bloke that still kicks 3 in a GF we can only dream of being in helps us get there.
FFS Longmire asked him to take Harris Andrews out of the game.
Let him teach LDU - he’s better or at least equal to Cunnington - and Sheezel, and Wardlaw, top level midfield craft.
What an asset.
Or let’s allow Raph Clarke, Leigh Adams to do it on their own.
STFU
Hodge wasn't Brisbane's best player when he went up there but I'm sure he helped change the standards & helped them get to where they are today in some way.We are a pathetic bunch … now we will base our hopes & dreams in the preseason on a 32 year old guy that kicks 3 goals in absolute junket time whilst being completely unsighted & out of his depth for the entirety of the GF ?!
How did W Ashcroft win the Norm Smith Medal? He hasn’t had 100 games pumped into him!!!
How did Fagan coach this side to a flag? He had the same Racism Saga as Clarko did and yet Clarko coached poorly because of it. Things just aren’t making sense to me.
I mean, even the optometrists amongst us have got to start wondering if this shlt show will ever end????
Will we? Too funny! We are a pathetic bunch … now we will base our hopes & dreams in the preseason on a 32 year old guy that kicks 3 goals in absolute junket time whilst being completely unsighted & out of his depth for the entirety of the GF ?!
Because we completely lack leadership, leadership is unlikely to be found in this or next year's draft year, and mathematically there's more likelihood we'll get leadership by trading for a multiyear AA elite player than there is throwing the dice for a young naive kid.So why are people happy to trade back from a strong position for a 28 year old half back flanker and some cast offs?
Half back flankers are probably one of the most important positions in the modern game.Because we completely lack leadership, leadership is unlikely to be found in this or next year's draft year, and mathematically there's more likelihood we'll get leadership by trading for a multiyear AA elite player than there is throwing the dice for a young naive kid.
To say nothing about how our rebound game has been appalling, so having one of the best kicks and decision makers available would be an immediate boost to our competitiveness in that regard.
Doesn’t chuckle and slap team mates arses after beltings like our LmacLooked thoroughly pissed off at kicking meaningless goals in a GF. If he comes, will be nice to have a bloke who wants to win
We aren't getting Houston your getting angry about something that has a 1% chance of happening. So why are people happy to trade back from a strong position for a 28 year old half back flanker and some cast offs?
Reckon its a 30% prospect at this point, but happy to dream all the same.We aren't getting Houston your getting angry about something that has a 1% chance of happening.
We are getting some solid leadership and retaining our oh so precious draft picks to gamble with.
Was there today and the guy kicked 3 whilst tagging Neale as a midfielder in a quarter. We are basing our success on the kids we have, the foundation that’s been set, and adding a hard bloke that still kicks 3 in a GF we can only dream of being in helps us get there.
If Half back is one of the most important What would be the most important position in the modern game.Half back flankers are probably one of the most important positions in the modern game.
