Junket time goals that even Ayden Bonar would kick …
But he never did because he never played in a GF! But thanks to Parker and their other leaders Parker actually did!!

Anyone who doesn’t want Parker has rocks in their head when you look at our leaders lol! Our leader is a 19 year old! He deserves a Parker!

We are a pathetic bunch … now we will base our hopes & dreams in the preseason on a 32 year old guy that kicks 3 goals in absolute junket time whilst being completely unsighted & out of his depth for the entirety of the GF ?!
Shut up ****. No one is placing their ‘hopes and dreams’ on Luke Parker. No one expects him to come in and be our best player. It’s a bit more nuanced than that… He’s clearly being brought in as a standard setter on the track and to mentor Wardlaw. (Now departed Liam Shiels had this role last year for what it’s worth)

Idiots.

We are not basing our success on him.

We are basing our success on the kids we have, the foundation that’s been set, and adding a hard bloke that still kicks 3 in a GF we can only dream of being in helps us get there.

FFS Longmire asked him to take Harris Andrews out of the game.

Let him teach LDU - he’s better or at least equal to Cunnington (who was celebrated for not running in an era when two way running is the key to success) - and Sheezel, and Wardlaw, top level midfield craft.

What an asset.

Or let’s allow Raph Clarke, Leigh Adams to do it on their own.

STFU

So why are people happy to trade back from a strong position for a 28 year old half back flanker and some cast offs?

How did W Ashcroft win the Norm Smith Medal? He hasn’t had 100 games pumped into him!!!

How did Fagan coach this side to a flag? He had the same Racism Saga as Clarko did and yet Clarko coached poorly because of it. Things just aren’t making sense to me.

I mean, even the optometrists amongst us have got to start wondering if this shlt show will ever end????

Sunday October 6 will be when Luke Parker announces his intention to join NMFC.

Hodge wasn't Brisbane's best player when he went up there but I'm sure he helped change the standards & helped them get to where they are today in some way.
The plan I'm sure is for Parker to come in & do something similar hopefully.....

All the 33 year olds guiding the way…

Because we completely lack leadership, leadership is unlikely to be found in this or next year's draft year, and mathematically there's more likelihood we'll get leadership by trading for a multiyear AA elite player than there is throwing the dice for a young naive kid.

To say nothing about how our rebound game has been appalling, so having one of the best kicks and decision makers available would be an immediate boost to our competitiveness in that regard.

Half back flankers are probably one of the most important positions in the modern game.

We aren't getting Houston your getting angry about something that has a 1% chance of happening.
We are getting some solid leadership and retaining our oh so precious draft picks to gamble with.

Was there today and the guy kicked 3 whilst tagging Neale as a midfielder in a quarter.

There was no way he was going to kick 3 in that rubbish Swans forward line. Papley was probably worse than McDonald, McLean and Armartey.
