Would never have done that the optics would have been that we were getting 3 top 5 picks. The assistance picks were an easier sell to the CEOs and even then some of them spooked it up.

It would be a little less frustrating if the rule was changed after 10 years . Not have it removed after the dogs use pick 1 on a player , we miss a top 5 academy selection 2 years later then they bring it back in the following year . That’s just completely absurd. Isn't there some small slice out of the NT that we are not getting though....which from memory is where all the good players have come from....can't remember what the place was called. Was a little slice on right hand side of NT map I thought
