More than most years, I feel like our perceived needs could really change this year, depending on what we get from a development perspective.

How good Whitlock, Dawson, Goad and Maley look can change things a bit. Also Konstanty and RHJ. Even Duursma and Ford.

Either way, we probably need to add a pure KPF to develop in the 2s, to eventually replace Larkey.

He's a swing man, but even if he settles as a forward we will probably need another developing pure KPF.

More immediate needs might be solved by development in the next 12 months, of maybe not.

Initially I thought the same (with bow & arrow Duurs being there and HR playing VFL for them), but I wouldn't put it past the Cotton On cretins to find a unique way in their 'salary cap' to fit them in quite comfortably and set them all up for life..

Just because an u/18 plays a couple of VFL games for an affiliate club does not indicate they want to be at said club.

HR wanted to be a pussy cat as 1 priority, 2 was to stay in Melbourne.

Nah mate, last year Tom Morris said he'll be going to *Scum, so must be true..

FWIW I agree with you that Cotton On Joe's will throw the kitchen sink at HR but christ knows how they'll pay for him in trade/draft capital, it will be a LOT of future picks involved.
