Your response is poor. He kicked 9 in the scoobs last season.
He's not getting any better. He's terrible. It's his third season at the club and he has consistently struggled and been a constant liability.

Has no idea how to ruck, is largely ineffective up forward and has no game awareness/football IQ.

The guy is 25 and shown that AFL is above his level. No shame in that but he's crap.

Kyle Reimers kicked 8 once.

In the AFL.

Forgive me if I put it down to a statistical anomaly.
ive mentioned I didn’t want him in the 1’s but to find some confidence, form and try and show something in the scoobs. Its better for us if he was in the twos not suffering serious injury. Remember, we are still forced to pay his contract. Now all these abusive muppets slinging shit on roo players are not having the last laugh because now we are paying him to do NOTHING! Awesome!

And? I’m supposed to care?

I called it the day he walked in and continue to do so until the day he’ll be inevitably walked out, I’ve watched this blokes career before he set foot in the NMFC. He’s not good, he’s not going to magically become good and its clear as crystal in our list we have VFL players who can’t hack it at AFL level.

so whats changed??

seriously we are so far from maxing the cap even with the complimentary players now the wages are irrelevant, if anything it just makes it easier to roll back from the list number concession, i would be doing a deal where we come to a part payment of the final year for the release of the spot a la polec,

I am sorry to hear that. Its no fun for people like us. I could barely walk let alone play footy! Ha ha. You can Dr Google plantar fibroma and it will explain. I wonder as I have had PF so many times that a fibroma was inevitable. They injected straight into the fibroma. I nearly kicked the needle out of the Dr's hand! PF injections have been no issue so I was ill prepared! Im fine now :)

I assume an Achilles snapping is no walk in the park. Please get a scan if the compression stocking doesnt help quickly. You don't want a clot to travel to your heart my friend.
Hey my friend — I was just recently diagnosed with a planter fibroma (~14 days ago) and was curious to glean a bit more details on how you fared and it was treated.

I'm an active 20-something, who just noticed a small oat/pea-sized lump on the center band/arch of my planter fascia. It isn't visible when looking at the skin of my foot, but I can feel it when pulling my toes back.

Mind sharing a bit more about yours — whether in size, location, pain? For me, it feels like I have a pebbled under my foot sometimes when walking.

You mentioned you had a steroid injection for it. Mind sharing what happened after the injection? Did it just disappear? Go away...and hopefully never come back?

When my doctor noticed it, he mentioned that a plantar fibroma is technically "Leddenhose Diseease", and yet doing a quick bit of Googling (and seeing some pictures of people who have many plantar fibromas ranging in sizes) is now freaking me out because I so hope that this doesn't affect my physical fitness/activity long-term.

Unlike so many conditions, there doesn't seem to be too much on the internet about it — let alone — from super active people (like us); thus, I'd be grateful for any insights/perspective/sharing of your experience! Thank you, thank you! :)

Thoughts on Chairman Scotts culpability?

There are always 2 sides. We could blame our drastic purging of the list by the end of 2020 on scott but he got given a very mediocre list in 2009 so he had to make do to draft a bunch of solid playerse who could perform okay from day 1 but never get to elite level. He then did a few good free agencies and that got us to finals in 2012, 14, 15, 16. So you could say scott got the most from the list but also him getting the most meant we had to do massive cuts.

If we bottomed out back in 02 like we are now, the club wouldn't exist today. If we bottomed out like today back in the 2010s, we would've been moved to GC most definitely. We are bottoming out in the manner today because we are far more secured in other footy departments hence we have the luxury to fully bottom out.

What we are doing is quite simple really, we gutted about 15 players with degrees of seniority plus 5 retired. We simply need to get 20 to 25 players to the experience level of those we cut and retired and by then we will be contending, simple really.

You need to call in to 3aw before Sundays Game and fill them in

Not sure about the simple bit, but I think the overall point about the need to maintain some level of on-field competitiveness in perilous off-field times is well-made. Three years on the bottom prior to the Gold Coast entry and it would have been curtains.

And 3 years on the bottom after carey left would have been curtains as well. We avoided folding and relocation with midtabling finishes. A brutal purge has finally gotten us on track to build a proper team.

Now when i say things are 'easy', i mean the only thing we need to do now is focus on the onfield stuff and build a team for eventual success. It's going to be longterm of course. It might not even happen under clarkson but it will most definitely happen because of clarkson's implementations.

In my culture, we say, old generations plant the tree, youngsters enjoy the shades.

At the risk of inviting much ridicule; and because Larkey has struggled so much this year to kick goals; lately I have been wondering if in part this may be due to CCJ's absence.

Yes he is a much maligned player, CCJ, but this time last year he was in the team and providing an additional tall option in the forward line, as well as back up to Goldy. This year he would have also provided back up to X.

It seems to me that irrespective of how he is rated by us, having an additional tall presence in the form of CCJ in the forward line, just might have made life more difficult for opposition defences and easier for Larkey.

Having to play Chom in defence to cover for Logue, means we haven't had anyone of that height to replace CCJ.

Go ahead everyone, tell me I'm an idiot.

The thoughts relevant (and I definitely won't call you an idiot) but he missed games last season and Larkey kicked good numbers in those games. CCJ also only played 9 games last season.

The numbers last season (quick math) 14 games without CCJ he kicked 47 goals at 3.35
With CCJ he kicked 24 goals in 9 games at 2.67

Pretty conclusive that last season it made absolutely no difference.

Larkey is just having a shit year and our midfield is down on last year as are our forward 50 entries. Difficult environment for a forward.
