We made the same error going to India last year, playing on doctored Indian pitches with a Big Bash preparation. We did well for the rest of the series, bar that hour in Delhi that cost us that game. We did it again here and were similarly terrible.

I just think the way the game is played these days, we may eventually see the death of the 5 Day Test, that's what prompted my comment that if we are seeing Tests not even getting to day 4, should we be too worried about over rates.

Yep. Bumrah needs the Jimmy Anderson treatment. Trouble is he has more tricks and gets more bounce but still just blunt him and attack the rest.
