No surprises there. Hopefully it means Boland is back for Boxing Day. Go well Hoff.Team announced: Boland out, Hazlewood back in.
Extraordinarily stiff.Team announced: Boland out, Hazlewood back in.
Unless there's an injury it's unlikelyNo surprises there. Hopefully it means Boland is back for Boxing Day. Go well Hoff.
Really is a closed shop.Boland real stiff to be dropped.
He was the third best quick in terms of wickets in the second Test, Hazelwood was our best quick in the first Test. It's not stiff to be left out for better bowlers, it's just unfortunate to be very good and still have three better bowlers ahead of you in the pecking order.Boland real stiff to be dropped.
I certainly wouldn’t hope for an injury, but a rotation may be required, especially with Hoffa durability and Starcs habit of fade outs later in series.Unless there's an injury it's unlikely
Yeah straight back in for Haze if fitHe was the third best quick in terms of wickets in the second Test, Hazelwood was our best quick in the first Test. I'll be surprised if it lasts more than 3 days.
Wish the selectors had the balls to play 4 quicks. We could've blown them outta the park, and instead now i think we'll loseReally is a closed shop.
The obsession with an all rounder is what keeps him out of the side.
Maybe if we had a batter who could bowl genuinely decent spin, otherwise no way you go in without a spinner who can give the quicks breaks, get through the overs and obviously pick up a wicket or two along the way.Wish the selectors had the balls to play 4 quicks. I mean Travis Head is handy, but I understand your point.Maybe if we had a batter who could bowl genuinely decent spin, otherwise no way you go in without a spinner who can give the quicks breaks, get through the overs and obviously pick up a wicket or two along the way.
Wait how?Really is a closed shop.

Eh you can only bowl them 2 at a time, don’t think we need the 4th.Wish the selectors had the balls to play 4 quicks. We could've blown them outta the park, and instead now i think we'll lose
Nah play Lyon too. We should play to our strengths and batting aint it. So go the full attack with 5 bowlers, 5 bats and Carey. Dunno, i just really rate our bowlers and have more faith in them to win us the game than our batsman.Maybe if we had a batter who could bowl genuinely decent spin, otherwise no way you go in without a spinner who can give the quicks breaks, get through the overs and obviously pick up a wicket or two along the way.
Boland is the new Michael Kasprowicz who usually only got a gig when one of McGrath, Gillespie or Lee was injured or rested.
Mitch Marsh said the other day that there is nothing better than 3 day tests and he was probably only half joking.
The spectators and tv broadcasters might hate them but the players probably love them as they get paid the same for less work.
Because they prefer to have Marsh at 6, instead of four fast bowlers on a pacey Gabba wicket. One of which averages about 14 in this country.Wait how?
