Nah , everyone in America is thick as all shit. The supposed educated folk of the East and West Coast's of America showed just how stupid they are as well by hanging their hopes on this Russian scam for 2 whole years.

Even before the Russian scam is apparent to them, the same American public have already moved on and are possessed with the Venezuelan scam, all with the same fervour they found for the Iraqi scam or the one before or after that one.

From its very beginning, the fledgling north American colonies were captivated by evangelists and confidence men, and that same tradition remains strong. When you combine the power of the modern media with a shrewd confidence man like Obama, the populace can be made to ardently believe any fantasy you can imagine. So even though, Obama conducted more wars, destroyed more countries, created an unprecedented number of refugees than. More than even Bush Junior, Obama is a good guy. He doesn't really want all these wars. He is is such a trustworthy guy he can't even say "Radical Islamist." He says all the right things at all the right times. It's not so easy. Come-on! You know his a nice guy.

The truly remarkable aspect of the Trump phenomena is that, the larger portion of the mainstream media have exercised entirely no restraint in either preventing Trumps election victory or in taking him down after his victory. It has been vicious 24/7 and yet he won and survives.

Americans love winners and they respect a fighter, a survivor.

Having taken the course they decided to take, the Democrats have given Trump the only path to re-election - a begrudging respect for his unflappable resilience and counter-punching survival instinct. The Russian card has been so over played, was always destined to end miserably. You have to wonder whether, Trump may have a mole in the DNC running their strategy. This has been one slow car crash, featuring CNN, MSNBC, WaPo, NTY, all the usual suspects - repeatedly building huge castles in the air only for them to be washed away at the next tide.

Short of the Democrats convincing someone like Oprah to run, it is difficult to even imagine how any of the likely candidate have any chance whatsoever.

Sadly, millions of DNC voters remain so invested in this collusion. They are akin to obsessed crop circle nuts, nightly they trawl the most distant corners of the internet, desperate to uncover some kind of definitive proof. Or failing that, they pray their tireless vigilance, their singular devotion and sacrifice will conjure the necessary divine intervention to rid the world of this evil man.

The problem with Russiagate was that it’s basic theory didn’t even make sense: that the Russian security apparatus, one of the most organised and ruthless in history, would choose Donald Trump, the guy with ridiculous hair who said “YOUR FIRED” on TV, as their political plant to usurp America.

Read what I wrote again. I realise its Sunday night and all, but honestly I reckon that one went through to the keeper :p

Here;

See, this is what I don't get. There's a perception amongst a great many people that Putin is controlling Trump and between them U.S standing in the world is going south. I'm completely on the fence as far as an actuality of that goes.

Perception amongst a great many people =/= my own belief on it. I'm on the fence. I don't know what the truth of the matter is. I am open to dialogue and consideration of all points though.

Worst result possible. Trump supporters will claim no collusion while his critics will point out that he couldn't be completely exonerated.
And so it will go on.
Worst result possible for those who want to see the destruction of America, sure.

We've lived in a multipolar world before, and it was immiseration for anyone who lived under the umbrella of one of the bad poles.

I think a unipolar world may have actually been worse. They haven't been world wars by any means, but how many small wars and low-intensity conflicts have errupted in the absence of a strong counter-weighting presence? I'm no Moscow Lad or Beijing Boy either, by the way.

Much less. There’s a reason it is called “Pax Americana”.

Like the Pax Romana it's an Imperial Peace. I know there's a 'means to an end' argument in there somewhere, but there are just too many examples of U.S meddling in world affairs that scream out that this sort of 'peace' is less than ideal.

Depends on who you ask though.

Washington post since september 2018 wrote a whooping 1,184 of nothing burgers..
New York Times another bunch of losers wrote 1,156 of nothing burger stories. Insane.
Oh then cnn... drum role ........ 1,965 of nothing burgers...

And let’s not forget MSNBC ... these freaks went into overdrive of nothing burgers... totalling a whooping 4,202 made up collusion nothing burgers since September..

Now what the **** are they going to whinge about now? Wise well shit them down they will have nothing to talk about.

Ask the Uyghurs how they like their pole.

So multipolar not good, right? Which pole would Australia be under without the US hegemon?

Beijing not the best. Moscow not the best. Washington not the best. What I'd like for Australia is actually kind of unpopular. I'd like the country to have its own nuclear deterrent. I know that would logically mean an arms race with Indonesia but I accept the fact that the 'nuclear genie' is never EVER going to go back inside the lamp. Mutually assured destruction would keep both our sides in their respective corners.

So;

A nuclear deterrent for Australia.
Withdrawal from ANZUS while keeping friendly relations with all as much as we can.
Australia to become a Republic.

I don't think he's an idiot in all respects. He's a great conman, for sure.
By 'useful idiot' I mean the sort of bloke who puts out so much social unrest that the Russians couldn't help but help him win.

Trump purposefully seeking out Russian help in his quest to become president was some of the stupidest shit I've ever read on the internet.
