I just bought this version of dice cricket:
It's based on percentile dice, with different pitch conditions, batting approaches, and player ratings. I am using it to simulate the remainder of this series.
For the 4th test at Old Trafford, we are starting with a flat wicket for the first 2 innings, degrading to 'regular' for the 3rd innings, and 'turning' for the 4th.
Players are rated from A to D for batting and bowling. I chose some cut off points for career averages. And then looked up current stats. The two teams are those named for the 4th test. Ratings are below:
