4th Ashes Test- simulation

I just bought this version of dice cricket:

It's based on percentile dice, with different pitch conditions, batting approaches, and player ratings. I am using it to simulate the remainder of this series.

For the 4th test at Old Trafford, we are starting with a flat wicket for the first 2 innings, degrading to 'regular' for the 3rd innings, and 'turning' for the 4th.

Players are rated from A to D for batting and bowling. I chose some cut off points for career averages. And then looked up current stats. The two teams are those named for the 4th test. Ratings are below:

Couple of early boundaries off Wood, and the Australians get away to 31, before Woakes strikes with his first ball to remove Khawaja, bowled for 15.

Australia 1-31

After starting off with 4 maidens, Woakes goes bang bang at the start of his 5th to remove Labs and Smith (first ball - caught Root) and now has 3-0!

Australia 3-33. Warner not out 16.

Travis Head elects to bat with the "attacking" approach. Starts with a flurry of quick runs, but then Stokes finds the edge and the catch is taken by Crawley.

Australia 4-40. Warner 16*.

No.

Thanks though!

Cummins throws the bat, in a partnership of 61 with Hazlewood. He takes Ali for 2 sixes to move from 86 to 98, before being caught by Wood on the boundary. Hazlewood remains 6 not out.

Australia all out for 335, a remarkable recovery from 8-92.

Woakes 20 - 8 - 56 - 4
Stokes 12 - 2 - 32 -2
Moeen 12 - 3 - 51 - 2
Broad 21 - 5 - 60 - 1
Anderson 16 - 3 - 56 - 1
Wood 17 - 6 - 47 - 0
Root 3 - 1 - 24 - 0

Green 162
Cummins 98
Warner 25
