Ambrose in 1992-93 is the only one comparable in my lifetime. 33 at 16 and competing with Bishop and Walsh for a share of the spoils (Bishop had a very good tour as well, took 23 wickets).

Started with 9-fa at the Gabba, 1985/6, and took the catch of the tenth wicket (ninth to fall?). NZ's first ever match, and series, win in Australia?
Hadlee was one of the true greats, imo. I put him up there with McGrath, Holding, Marshall, Steyn, etc.
