Under the right tutelage and with the right attitude yes. I'm not convinced we have the right resources for the former and I wouldn't know him well enough to know if his attitude is the latter.

He wasn't a great test spinner but his batting made up for it and why he played a lot of ODI cricket as he was a good all rounder.
He was also a good mentor for other younger better test spinners like Shane Warne and Tim May.
As long as it doesn't go to his head. He is naturally aggressive, but the ramps shots aren't normal for him at Shield Cricket. Must have been a plan to throw Bumrah off his line. That can work or can end up embarrassing. Not sure we see that every time he bats.
