It was a bad call.
Kohli wouldn't have been expecting a yes call.
Why would you take that risk?

Jaiswal should've been calling wait, not just taking off.
I don’t disagree it was a risky call. Was it worth the gamble given the state of the game? Probably not.

But to send someone back you must look up at your partner and immediately shout NO, probably with your hand up. You NEVER EVER EVER turn your back in that situation - that’s under 15 level stuff.

Claiming Kohli is completely blameless is straight up having a laugh.

Regardless of the result, Webster should be in.

But the selectors have shown they don't like dropping established players that often.

Better than that, the selectors have shown they are happy for established players to select themselves, whole series in advance (Warner).

So we should expect nothing positive from the current administration.

Jacques Kallis ❤️

The reason why I rate Brian Lara so high is because of his ability to score big.

Lara scored 34 Test hundreds, 19 of them were 150+ scores. That's a staggering 55.8% of his 34 hundreds converted into 150+ scores.

He also scored nine 200+ scores. 26.4% of his 34 Test hundreds were 200+ scores.

His peak was so far ahead and not many batsman could get there. When he was on, he was really on and very difficult to get out. He batted in a strong era of Test cricket, look at the bowlers he faced. Test cricket collectively back then is better than what it is now and the past ten to fifteen years.

He also didn't play many matches against minnow teams Bangledesh and Zimbabwe. He only played two Test matches against them each. Imagine if he played more Test matches against them.

Looking at another monster crowd tomorrow.

I just had a look at tickets in case I wanted to head down tomorrow, there's not much available in the way of good, non-nosebleed seats.

You should just be happy and celebrate draws, like our embarrassing team was content to do.
Our embarrassing reigning World Test and ODI champion team that is well poised to make another World Test Championship final?

Is that the embarrassing team you're talking about?

True

He should've shouted out a loud no straight away.

Lara was the best bat after Bradman IMO.

Always subjective though.
