Joe Root a couple years ago in Adelaide had heat seeking targets on his plumsI've never seen anyone get hit in the nuts more than marnus. Honestly, his balls must be in a million pieces now.

Totally agree.Laws of Cricket says he throws it......BUT.....I.C.C playing conditions allow for a certain amount of learway for degrees in terms of arm straightening. This provision was implemented when the issues for Murali cropped up.
As a former umpire....there's nothing the umpires can do. They'd be told not to no-ball any bowler for chucking. We already saw what happened with Darryl Hair in 1995 and Ross Emerson in 1999. Opened a can of worms.
Anyway it is what it is. When I umpired we were instructed not to no ball any bowler for chucking and simply report it in the umpires match report and the competition/association would take it from there.
With the series on the line? Doubt it, but we'll see.
Neck some pain killers and do it. I reckon it's a potential classic day.Bloody hell, I don't want to hear that the public area tomorrow is already 50% sold!
I only live 20 minutes away on the train, and I have a bad back that won't last the whole day - I was going to stay home til it got interesting/til the lunch break.
Didn't expect I'd be walking up to level 4 for a seat if I do that
I tried, I really tried to listen to SEN cricket because of Jim Maxwell, but after ..pushes to mid on and collects a single courtesy of…funerals…, followed by another dot ball that’s brought to you by …insurance..followed by that’s gone for four brought to you by …..followed by, it’s over by ….(here I’m thinking another funeral service) but no it’s a foot massage joint. Advertisements interrupted by commercials by cricket. Never again.Who knows Waleed was and he’s a shocker
Whately seems to have a great ability of making Hutchy sound competent
Totally agree.
But if it was any other bowler not from the sub continent they are being called for chucking. Under the current rules Bumrah is legal. 15yrs ago he was not allowed to play grade cricket. Funny how rule changes affect a few.
India and the sub continent control the ICC as they will continue to change the rules to make them all legal.

Just head in: I can't imagine you having any issues getting a seat somewhere on level 1. For $10 it'll be well worth it.Bloody hell, I don't want to hear that the public area tomorrow is already 50% sold!

The ICC opened up a minefield by changing the rules. It's obvious people are going to exploit them. We are going to see more and more of this type of bowler who off a hop, skip and jump of a run can generate 90 mph and thus bowl for longer spells. Massive advantage.
Remember Ian Meckiff? The ICC opened up a minefield by changing the rules. It's obvious people are going to exploit them. We are going to see more and more of this type of bowler who off a hop, skip and jump of a run can generate 90 mph and thus bowl for longer spells. Massive advantage.
Remember Starc is carrying an injury too.
No no no....the "rules" are the Laws of Cricket....they weren't changed. It was the I.C.C creating a grey area by introducing into their playing conditions/rules about the straightening of the arm being a certain amount of degrees. This then catered to bowlers such as Murali (and anyone else) where they did straightening their arm.
Laws of Cricket is pretty self explanatory.
He is a tailender 7-8. Has a decent eye so can be dangerous. If you can’t make runs batting at 5 and 6 you never will.Think that Sydney and Manchester are the two grounds in the world where the most days have been lost to rain in Test Cricket. So not unusual for it to happen again.
You can skip it. After the fall of the 4th wicket, just turn off for 10 minutes and then come back to find him back in the pavilion out.
I have watched Australia play all over the world (haven’t been to Pakistan or Bangladesh but have had great interactions with their fans in Australia), and have had great experiences with all sets of fans EXCEPT India.Yep thats right. Same applies to some Aussie cricket fans too. Like I said, all cricket nations have good fans and bad fans.
Do some researchNo. Played before I was born.
Did his arm look like this at any point during delivery?

Sri Lanka was unbelievably hospitable to us in 2022, and the banter with the poms, saffas and Kiwis is great. The vibes in the Caribbean are unreal. I had the complete opposite experience with Indian fans both in India and increasingly here in Australia. Just no sense of respect or personal space whatsoever. And that’s without going into the absolute bile they spew on social media non stop. What other countries supporters send death and rape threats to family members of opposition players?
Jim is a cooker. Listening to him complain about Covid protocols in Victoria today on ABC radio and then have Sunny tell an anecdote a couple of minutes later, prefixed with the explanation that his batting partner in the story was no longer with us due to Covid, was all kind of awkward.I tried, I really tried to listen to SEN cricket because of Jim Maxwell, but after ..pushes to mid on and collects a single courtesy of…funerals…, followed by another dot ball that’s brought to you by …insurance..followed by that’s gone for four brought to you by …..followed by, it’s over by ….(here I’m thinking another funeral service) but no it’s a foot massage joint. Jesus, are the Bumrah crybabies back again?
Literally every second day of this test series has included someone debunking the notion that a hyperextension is a throw.
It isn't. Learn the rules. God damn.
So is DaY 5 A SELL OUT, lol.Just missed out on Day 5 tickets because the allocation is exhausted for GA. ****
