Rubbish as in the end he went into the Swans game as was in the best. So where did he go do all this improvement?
Stop making things up.
I don’t ride horses so if you’re on one I suspect it’s a donkey.

Lol.

So he was playing his role really well and the selectors just decided to omit him for no apparent reason. Makes perfect sense TI. :tearsofjoy:

He never went back to vfl so what happened? He doesn't play against the Swans and we lose. Does that make sense to you ? He' has performed above Cotchin, JGTI, Hopper, KMac and Pickett all year, but they dropped him. lol
You're an apologist and have no balanced argument, but to tow the company line. They had egg on their faces and it's amazing he still hasn't been dropped since to work on his role.

Ross has played pretty well of late, should keep his place in the side. Sometimes it takes a while for players to 'click'.
I’m loving Ross…been in our bests for a few weeks now…he’s now one of our better players…very smart player…good user of the ball…hard at it…good size…strong

will have a ripper 2024

Well Mr McQualter explained it is because they wanted Ross to do some work on certain things.

Mr Ross himself explained it was because he needed to work on improving certain things and he accepted that and has full faith in the coaches.

Mr Imposter says if a player seems to be getting his share of Supercoach points but is not performing part of his role satisfactorily, you just accept it and hope it goes away and never use selection as a circuit breaker to get the player to focus on the things you need him to focus on. And at some point down the track when you have become Carlton, Essendon, or North Melbourne you sack the coach and Match Committee and start again with the same players with the same faults.

I am sorry Mr Imposter, I am going to vote with Mr McQualter and Mr Ross on this one.

MR you're not funny as he never went back to the VFL to work on them . You're like a Mormon saying there was a massive relapse in Christianity and so Joseph Smith came to the rescue. Yet history shows from the time of Smith there was a Pope in the Vatican and all other Christian denominations existed.
I can't be bothered arguing with an apologist as it's a waste of time. As I said you don't have the capacity to think for yourself and you just admitted to it.

I must admit that is the first time I have been compard to a Mormon saying there was a massive relapse in Christianity and so Joseph Smith came to the rescue. Yet history shows from the time of Smith there was a Pope in the Vatican and all other Christian denominations existed. Yes siree, that is a new one. I have never before been compared to a Mormon saying there was a massive relapse in Christianity and so Joseph Smith came to the rescue. So help me out as I am confused here TI. You say Ross never went back to the VFL, and has just continued to play AFL throughout the period in question. And that he has improved since starting as a sub v Swans. But it was wrong for the MC to start him as a sub v Swans, despite the fact it seemed to trigger a higher level of performance from Mr Ross?

Hang on TI, let's go over this one more time, am I really likea Mormon saying there was a massive relapse in Christianity and so Joseph Smith came to the rescue. Yet history shows from the time of Smith there was a Pope in the Vatican and all other Christian denominations existed? :tearsofjoy:

It’s called an analogy now what did JR miraculously do that was different from starting as sub? He was actually one of the better performers in the Brisbane game , yet was dropped. So where and when did he work on these deficiencies that you are saying he had, but haven’t stated what they are?
You conveniently ignored how he has performed above all the players I’d mentioned.
Bye as I’m not wasting my time with you trolling as it’s pointless.
As I said you’re an apologist and can’t think for yourself yet come up with over the top statements that make You look foolish.I’ve found this common in people who’ve worked as Public Servants all their lives. 😆

Wow, ok this is getting very confusing.

As I read this you have some questions you desperately want me to answer for you, but as you have pointed out you are leaving, answering your questions would be pointless.

You have placed me into some kind of Bigfooty matrix here TI, how will I ever escape this one? :tearsofjoy:

Matrices are easy to solve if you have the discipline to learn and put in the required effort. A closed mind or one that allows others to control it will never progress to the next level.

Only cos someone got injured first 5 mins. If fired him then yeah. But you really think it was planned he would get gametime within 5 mins? would dropping Pickett fire him up?
Ross did come out and say himself that it fired him up so in many respects it did work even if he basically still played a full game

I think internally Jack Ross was always rated highly but the club and coaches just wanted to develop other parts of his game and in hindsight have been proven to be correct in their decisions and its showing now.

I was not aware that he was as quick as mentioned by Growapair "He is elite over 20m at under 2.9s" and if that is the case then he will have all the tools to become a real weapon with the speed sidestep marking and recently nice goal kicking. Also going by his junior years has captaincy potential and is a leader.

Lets hope he continues to improve and becomes a gun , Hopper & Taranto i think have been really good for Ross also as i have seen a few pieces where they are together
I call bullshit, if he was so highly rated how was he dropped after BrisVegas debacle, premiership players get a free ride, no accountability for not performing to a premiership standard.

Beat 16th by 1 point and no one will be dropped, despite some strong performances at VFL Level l.

Cumberland should replace McIntosh on the wing, or Biggy replace Pickett as third tall.

What about Cotchin? Those three misees for goal from within 20m. Should be spelled, Rioli was dynamic in the midfield against Box Hill.

Boys club under minibus.

Nah, he's terrible. Can't kick, can't get easy ball, can't run, inconsistent, weak. First delisted IMO.

fair chance his trial isn't for another 1-2 years. Would be just our luck it's a few days after his 99th.
I'm pretty sure I heard Benny Gale say it could be 18 months plus before the case is tried.

Great interview with Jack Ross on the club website.

Good so let’s do it on Kmac , JGTI and Pickett. Hopefully it will fire something up their cracks.
I mean McIntosh and Graham were right up in our best against the Hawks so you’d be sending all sorts of wrong messages dropping them after that game

Pickett is being asked to play as an undersized key forward which he probably got away with from time to time in the WAFL but is struggling with in the AFL. Unfortunately I don’t see what other options we have to play that role and free Pickett up to go back to the wing

We don’t have any Lynch style crash and bash key forwards currently playing VFL who are going to be any more capable than Pickett
