Nah, he's watching the catch and to see if they can get their review back through some loopholeStokes looking at the rain radar.
90mins rain absolutely fucckks us.
Easily enough time to lose, pretty much no time to win
As much as I'd love 3-1.... 2-1 also does the job that's still an Ashes win, will be a shame if the rain ruins the chase, but I'd rather a draw than us chase the win and losing all the wickets
You're out by 40 minutesRain coming in about 40 minutes into the afternoon session apparently
Fair to say if it cost Poms in the 4th then it has hurt us here. Twice in 2 days halting great partnerships and potentially leaving us in a situation you've described.A rained out session just about takes an Australian win out of the equation. Can easily lose 7 wickets in a session though.
You mean england win right? two hours rain means england win and draw only optionsRain might just steal too much time from the game for England to win and only leave the draw and Aussie win on the table.
You certainly can not.Well poop. I don't really know what to do know... I guess if it's 60-90 minutes rain it kills our chances, so I can probably go to bed?
If the shoe was on the other foot we'd be moaning about our bowlers being tired after 2 hours in the opening session.glad we sat off for lunch while it wasn't raining
Not to fear, light isn’t factored in when Australia is batting?Should be fine after 4pm. Last session could be 40 overs long depending on light.
What exactly about Starc...? I didn't think his catch was legal (unlike most on here), I don't think that Stokes catch was legal. I'll continue to wait.
We have BisonWell poop. I don't really know what to do know... I guess if it's 60-90 minutes rain it kills our chances, so I can probably go to bed?
It’s what was needed, may even be renamed BLU & Heady’s cricket forum. We'll lead the cricket forum into a new and wonderful era, BLUE.
You're being a hypocrite by conflating the two entirely different incidents. What exactly about Starc...? I didn't think his catch was legal (unlike most on here), I don't think that Stokes catch was legal. I'll continue to wait.
Depending on how many overs will be lost due to rain we need to come out after lunch looking to score quickly (nothing stupid). Get the margin below 100 before the new ball with ideally both Smith and Head still at the crease but at the very least one of them and then look to put away the bad balls with the new ball which should fly to the boundary. If Smith can anchor the innings, really no reason why we should lose this test.
