Was dying for a Carlton Draught at the MCG.
None served.
Easily the best sports beer, goes down smooth.
Enjoyed a pint after the win at the Cricketers Arms.

Update on the beers

Onto the Crown Lager

Solid drop

Feller ain’t a beer Luke, no malt was harmed in the production of that, someone stitched you up.

Yeah was just the drink I got free with my membership

Tastes like cat liquid

The Form Guide would say…

Get on - split grip big gap between bat and pad and possibly surprised them first up. Looked average in the 2nd dig and didn’t try any trick shots. Bumrah will be waiting armed with more knowledge
Looked average in the first dig until the third attempt at a "trick shot" too. Getting Bumrah away for a few with unorthodox shots is great, but sustainable at Test level? Presumably a bit of that was nerves, and playing with the freedom of the more unusual shots might have helped remove that a bit.
I'm no expert, even less so in batting, but he looked very much the epitome of the modern player. Defence lacking tightness, looked like he would be unable to play time (I know its the modern way, but protecting the rest of the middle order and #3 still has value in an opener imo), and only started getting bat on ball with the orthodox stuff after trying the unorthodox.

That's potentially a lot to learn at the highest level. Time will tell, he has talent for sure, but that's not enough on its own.

Greentop with cloud cover overhead at Lords/Gabba/Centurion. I’d be considering bowling first depending on some other factors.

The last venue you named is the only place I would maybe in NZ though we’d beat them regardless

Hows the bag in which the baggy green comes in??!!

Will have the parochial Vics in here creaming...
You must be fair and acknowledge Boland has been great when given the opportunity, which I think you do. I think Boland transcends state borders.

What's the line up?
At the MCG it was Great Northern and I think Mountain GOAT (though could be confusing things with Moonee Valley races)
The 4 Pines Pacific Ale was served, not a bad drop.
