From seeing a bit of him batting now, I don't think he actually has the technique to survive against Bumrah (then again most of our batters don't) so instead of waiting and letting Bumrah work him over with the same ball what he is doing is making Bumrah bowl all over the shop.

Bumrah bowling to Uzzie (and others) is basically bowling a very similar delivery each time and varying the line and length a bit. Bumrah to Konstas is down leg, short, then full, then wide outside off.......

I agree. Unless ur Steve Smith or Labuschagne/Head in form, Bumrah is gonna get you one way or another. May as well take as many runs with you on the way out and get inside his head as much as you can.

Totally different games but in Korean League of Legends the best teams are very similar to Bumrah. Clinical, constricting and unrelenting. The only real way of beating them is to turn it into a total clown show so they don't know how to react and do some dumb stuff themselves.

If Konstas can make a good score and throw them off their game it opens things up for those coming in after him, as we saw in his debut innings. The Indians were completely rattled and Smith was able to capitalize.
