An interesting Konstas anecdote from his early junior years. Dig the Special K nickname.

Sam played fifth grade for the St George District Cricket Club at the ridiculous age of 12 and when the end-of-season report came out his coach Warwick Hayes wrote; "Watch this space - Special K will go places. He is never overawed".

Hayes knew what he was talking about as he was Saints record run scorer across all grades.

Hayes knew. He knew.

Of course, this quote had not been mentioned until now I am guessing ;)

Gilchrist, as much as I love him, is the biggest submissive cuck to India

On FTA same nonsense from Tim Lane, going on about how he hoped the boys in the Australian dressing room had a word with Konstas. No mention of the players from the other team who go him even when he's the non-striker.

Ponting of course was all for the niggle ;)

Obviously a far, far, far better batsman than I ever was, but that grip just looks so awkward to me. Can any of you really good cricketers tell me if it's able to be technically sound?

Sam copped shit for chat, but he was silent for every ball - Fox even put up the mics for am vet and it was clear it was harmless banter only between deliveries.

Again, this is stepping over the line by chatting when the bowler is running in

An umpire doesn't storm in like that unless he has a reason. Especially against India
