Serious question. What other country in the entire world would produce a 2-3 day result wicket when the touring side needs a win to take home the trophy?

SCG groundkeepers have been high on their own supply for a bit of time now.

Not to this extent. Way too heavily skewed towards the ball.

Several mirror deliveries line and bounce are completely different based on just the pitch. It’s a crapshoot.

I prefer there being a bit of balance. This game will be done by end of tomorrow at this rate. Melbourne had the better balance where there was something in it for both bat and ball and lasted the 5 days.
Ridiculous pitches appalling batting but let him enjoy it Yep this is a stupid pitch put together by imbeciles

Internet experts who know nothing about curating a pitch

Do you have any clue how little you can change in the space of 3 days?
Correct - definitely too late to correct it based on the previous result.

Was it India who switched pitches very last minute for a game recently? Not sure if it was the World Cup or something else. That type of approach may have made sense (but we don't tend to do that morally here unlike India would).

It should have been concrete. So bad it gets a poor rating

I think this Konstas kid does need to review what he is doing. It's bazball gone mad almost. He is trying to flog every ball to the boundary, more than you would in a T20. Test cricket is going to lend itself to reading the situation occasionally and batting accordingly.
Yeah, he has a lot to learn. Which most 19 year olds do. The concern for me is that, like many modern players, the defence is so loose and he very much likes bat-on-ball which is not always ideal as an opener.
I can see him and out of the side 2-3 times in the next 3-4 years. Hopefully he gets time in the Shield and not Maxwelled through white ball cricket with no chance to prove himself as a learner at FC level.

Nah to watch T20 if you want it easy for batsmen. You barely ever see wickets that favour fast bowlers this is great.
Who cares if it's over in 3.5 days, every run means something.

Cannot understand why they didn’t.
Every other test nation would have.
Our curators have always marched to the best of their own drum so the team needs to play well to win in all circumstances.

Annoying, but maybe it contributes to our success long term given we have more trophies than all the other pitch doctoring nations.
