Sure, but right now he's our top scorer and had the Indians in disarray. Trying to heap all the blame on him is hilarious.
I'm interested in him being a better player and having the brains to take the easy runs when he has already spread the field. It was super dumb when he had them on toast. The others certainly are to blame too but he had got a start and threw it away. I do not see him staying in the side for long and will need to show that he values his wicket before he ever comes back

The most Australian thing in the world is to complain about how the country is run, especially while enjoying the health care, education, clean water and living standards.

Found it hard to complain about life in Australia after I saw this. Even the poorest in G20 countries are better off than those in 'true poverty'. We have it good.

38c in Melbourne today and we're all watching cricket, with the air con on and a beer in hand... Or we're at the pub doing the same.

Same

The Konstas wicket was disappointing

But that was a nothing innings & nothing shot from Marnus - curious why he hasn't come under more fire this series
Made runs every time pressure has come on him.

Been just good enough to keep the pressure somewhat off but not good enough to cement his spot long term.

Kontas out using intent
Labuchagne with a white ball shocker
Smith surprised by the extra bounce this deck has even from good length deliveries.

While our politicians are the richest in the world and tax the living **** out of us. I think most of will keep complaining.

Everyone wants to talk about maturity with Sam Konstas because the guy has a bit of personality - but nobody sys the word maturity when Steve Smith is doing dumb shit as a slips fielder and batter for the entire test.

You have a conscious choice about running down the wicket and having a specific gameplan to try and whack every second ball into orbit.

It’s not a ‘gameplan’ to drop easy catches or reflexively dive for others, or to spar at deliveries that pop on you outside off stump. A technical flaw maybe that you need to show some restraint to iron out of your game maybe but not a decision you are making proactively to indulge. Suggesting they are the same thing is ridiculous.

Kohli is perpetually upset, it's no way to live man, needs a prozac
Win or lose, best thing we can take from this Test is that after today we won't be seeing this absolute deadsh/t of a bloke walking out in a Test in Oz again.

Will personally volunteer to drive him to the airport and escort him onto the plane home.

2.5 days to go.
91 runs to win
7 wickets in hand
Their best bowler is out of action.

If that's not the recipe for an easy win I don't know what is. Would be a massive fumble to lose this
When you put it like that it sounds alright but that doesn’t tell the full story. 91 runs is still half of the best total scored for the entire match. I’d say based on that it’s only 55/45 in our favour. 3 top order wickets for half the runs is about evens.
