Maybe because I gave it to other clubs supporters who were gifted high draft picks back in the day when it turns out they didn't need them. They actually used them to dominate with an unfair advantage. I want to say when we start winning it's because we were smart with recruting, Shez, Wradlow, Goats, George etc.. and a club culture that goes back 100 plus years. It will be used against us and overshadow everything good the club has done in the last twelve months from the prez down and this is what they will say "You guys were a basketcase and the corrupt AFL gave you free kicks, thats why you are good". I want to say no we are North and we did it our way. It will feel that much better, trust me. Go and watch Ron Casey after 1996 final. We want to feel that. Stenght in advesity.

Yeah look I get the sentiment, but without it, as others have stated, there has barely been a premier to win one. The assistance is required, we are flipping miles off winning a flag, we need a lot more than one or two high pics IMO.
That’s why I think the NGA’s is completely acceptable. Affects no one really.

I still hope (as unrealistic as it sounds) that Cunners can get back to his best. He’s young enough given the footy he’s missed. May just need another preseason to get his fitness base back up
