Been big on Wardlaw since I first seen him play in under 16’s. I’m not expecting the world considering his lead in, but would love to see just a couple of real explosive clearance and a few lace out kicks.

Trust me, we’ve all got plenty to look forward to with this kid.
30 disposals, 3 goals and 10 tackles otherwise delist.

Sheeze’s brilliance so far not withstanding , This is the debut I’ve looked forward to the most this year . Get ‘em George .
I’m excited to see him too .
However I’m getting LDU vibes . The kid was a midfield beast at junior level & is not renowned to be play as as forward (even though he looked good on the weekend kicking a couple of snags in the VFL)
As was LDU he is just a great midfielder & expecting him to go pound for pound with the midfield gorillas in the AFL straight away is a tad optimistic to expect .
Good luck to the kid & hope he is a quicker burn than LDU was in his early years with us . (LDU had a few personal tragedies & serious injury to contend with too in his early years )
Good luck Worlord !

It’s weird - because of HSs amazing start, GW feels almost like steak knives of last year’s draft, despite being considered by the majority as being the best player in the draft.

Go well, George and eff up the opposition with your ferocity for the ball and man.

LDU was pretty tentative early days, didn’t know whether to go for the footy or or sit back and be a first receiver.

Wardlaw is different he is very much a see ball, attack ball sort of player. He’ll crack in from the get go even if he is out in his feet. You can expect that much from him on the weekend.
