Anyone else remember that ridiculous uncontested mark VB dropped last year in the corresponding game against the Giants? GWS went and scored a goal and VB just looked like a confused elderly gentleman wandering around at Woolworths.

Okay, I've seen one too many negative Henderson comments so some one is going to have to justify it. What has Hendo done so wrong in his time back in the team that he deserves so much negativity from his own fans? I can't think of 1 example of Hendo doing the wrong thing since he's been back and I am going to go as far as saying that people are judging Hendo on his form from years past rather than his form this year.
Has he been dominating? No. Did people really expect him to dominate? You're foolish if you thought that. Has he valued his disposal? IMO absolutely yes. Can he play Seedsman's role on the wing instead of playing in the backline? IMO absolutely yes. Does our best team have Henderson in it? No, but our best team does have the Crouch brothers firing in the midfield and that's not happening at present and is probably at least another pre-season away, if not 2 pre-seasons away before that happens. Has he justified his call up as a player to cover injuries or out of form players? IMO absolutely yes.
I've seen people wish injury on him. What the hell is going on with all this negativity towards Hendo? I used to get angry at Hendo in the past, but that was after he put in a crap performance or butchered possession. So please, some one please enlighten me as to what is so wrong with Hendo being in the team at this very moment? Is he holding back Brad "Butcher My Disposal" Crouch? I don't care, as long as Crouch is a liability with his disposal, he has to remain in the SANFL. We can't afford a midfielder who is presently turning the ball over badly on a regular bases. It might just be the case that Hendo being a year older and more mature might be starting to click with his disposal and decision making, but there are people with long memories unable to get past what happened before this season.

And the final against Freo, and last years Walsh showdown and last years Richmond game. The list is long. Bloody stupid comment.
If you are going to rev someone up you've got to have a sense of realism about it.
It was such an idiotic comment that Tex would have just laughed. As was Roo when they asked him about it.

Tex has done nothing all year. we need him tonight. This is a pivotal game. six four or five five with a hard game next week is the prize.You're having an emotional recreation to the sentences and not reading the paragraph. which explains why in this case, you're a keyboard hero. but normally you post some good shit. What knuckles did was a serious of words designed to invoke a specific response. He was just the mouth piece. This came from within. They've wound up the plastic band and decided its time to unleash. They've pushed his buttons. Tonight is also very emotional considering the ceremonies taking place. This is a very calculated action. He is probably playing on one of the best defenders in the league. When he plays agro, we dont lose.
If you wish to stay in your little box trying to pull me down,thats ok, its your loss . but there's a much bigger picture to what knuckles did.

Look I like Hendo, I've gone in to bat for him a few times over the years but since he's come back from his back injury his 'issues' as a player have been exacerbated, firstly he shouldn't be anywhere near the backlines, he's been played there for 3 seasons all off of the back of 3 good games playing loose down there at the end of 2013 when he was part of Sando's hit something on the dartboard style moves.
His soft vanilla style of game that involves hanging off the back of contests, avoiding staying on his line and not putting his head over the ball that he looked to be improving on at stages over the past 2 years has regressed backwards this year, look you can carry 'outside' players but the way he squibs when the ball is on the ground to be won is amateurish.
His good kicking skills seem to have also deserted him and while he can on the odd occasion find a target with his big slow loopy 45-50 metre kicks down the line he can't seem to hit the 30-40 metre bullett passes he once could before his back & hip issues. Kicked 6 goals as a forward once, might of excelled down that end of the ground if they kept him there.
That was a very hard post to read.
I'm all for Knuckles giving him a rev up but actually have some substance behind it. He may as well have said Tex's mum wears army boots.
Have you seen his hands? Been a few years since I've seen Neil but I can't imagine they would have improved.
