Both teams getting to 100. Scores so high I'm getting dizzy. Felt like a 90s nostalgia day.
They gave them 4 goals in the 3rd term to open it from.a 2 goals to a 6 goal game, what did we get a goal from.setterfield being thrown to the ground when casboult had marked.the ball anyway so it made no difference.

Carlton was the older and more experienced team, and Melbourne was down to one on the bench. You couldn't have got enough on the Blues with ten minutes to go. They really should've won.

1. Dwayne Russell's commentary. For god's sake... The game itself was exciting enough without him screaming hysterically for the last 30 minutes.
2. With seconds to go and less than kick in it, Hannan roosted the ball toward goal with nobody inside fifty... and the ball trickled to a complete stop on the goal line. And they cut to a close-up of Hannan jogging 45m away! Meanwhile Brayshaw and Fisher were going neck and neck in a desperate 50m race to the ball.
A unique occurrence in AFL footy and you blew it.
And on that final Carlton inside fifty as McGovern threw his boot at the ball and hit the post with the last kick of the game, they stick with a wide camera angle from 100m away and you could barely see the ball. THAT'S WHEN YOU GO TO A CLOSE UP, YOU MORONS!
Anyways, exciting last quarter. Great game in the end. Well done to both teams for giving it their all.
