Looking forward to seeing some improvement from Scully today. It's a great story how he's got back on the field. His touch was good last week and his running stats were impressive for most players.
He's not most players though, and a fair bit of improvement still to come I think.

This won't be pretty.

Expecting a dour struggle early, Cats to pile on 3-4 goals late in 2nd quarter to take the lead, and then win by 30+ running away with a 7 goal last quarter.

What’s with all the pessimism from your mob? Yes, you’re missing a few, but personnel has never been an issue in these clashes.

Pretty sure you beat us late last year with a similar number of best 22 players on the sideline and you’ve added Wingard and Scully to that team.

We deserve favouritism but it’s basically a 50-50 contest IMO.

Odds seem about right for mine hawks without players still have competitive team.
Geelong are without players too so it's a poor preemptive excuse. We've been forced to blood 4 kids because our depth, and players who'd be ahead at selection are injured. In fact the respective teams are pretty even. We're missing some key components of our defense and you're missing some key mids.

The game won't be won or lost because of injury.

I know if the situation was reversed id be saying the same thing you are.

We just have to many trying to learn the system all at once.

Scully, Wingard, Worpel, Cousins, Nash, Mirra, Scrimshaw, Lewis & Morrison.

Thats on top of many players having to move up a rung in roles due to outs like Mitchell.
