we were flat. Brisbane were great.

Kudos.to the Lions
Don't know that Richmond were flat. They were really impressive for the first 40 minutes. If your flat you get blown out early. I think Brisbane just worked that bit harder, at times they played Richmond at their own game forcing it forward at all costs.

Let's discuss the Tigers fumble and turnovers. Haven't seen the Tigers do both of them so often for a long time. Why did the Tiges keep bombing long into their forward 50 which made it easy for Andrews to get hist fist to it?
Yeah I agree, we made some uncharacteristic fumbles, sometimes caught holding onto the ball too long. Sometimes handballing to Nankervis for no reason.

This is what I don't get, everyone seems to think this Richmond team is so good you have to perform miracles to beat them. As good as they are and they are sublime, one little chink in their system - expose it, like what Bris did then you can win.

Whichever way you boil it down and dissect it Richmond do not have THE best list in this comp, one would argue that wc and giants do. Their list is very very good but it does not rely on personnel - it's their system you have to beat.

It's what Collingwood relied on in 2018 to get as far as they did, no one would argue they had the best list that year, was very very good but not the best and since that GF they've been exposed because the opp has worked out their system.

Hopefully this is a sign and the dogs or the saints can expose them next week.
I think with just about everything going wrong for the Tigers and just about everything going right for the Lions, we were still very much a winnable chance.

If the group can refocus quickly I think they are a class above the Dogs and Saints, but I think the challenge of going into a PF under quarantine or fly in on the day and then back out quarantine again if we won would is going to make the Premiership too great a challenge.

I think we had to win tonight, and that needed some things to go right, not everything going wrong.

Your question suggested those 3 teams would prefer to play Brisbane at home in a Prelim (who are undefeated there all year) than Richmond on a neutral ground.

My question stands, why the **** would you suggest that?
I'm not saying it would be easy just saying Richmond have been the best team in the competition in the past three seasons. Personally I would rather the lesser experienced Brisbane but not with any confidence. The same reason why I wouldn't want to get Hawthorn in a prelim from 13-15
