West Coast get advantages too. More than enough to compensate for any perceived disadvantages.
such as playing 10 games a year interstate?

the highest travel load with fremantle?

more likely to play top 8/4 teams interstate than richmond

more likely to play finals interstate than richmond

guaranteed in normal years to play grand finals interstate.

great list there

Now tell me the advantages the Ea get, seeing as you’re the one accusing people of not seeing them.

the year you beat adelaide was a disgrace

neither team did fa away from home but you got to play at home as a lower ranked seed.

That is not the tigers fault. It's not like its WC fault getting 8 games at homes with an average 7 day breaks while there opponents were getting 4 and 5 day breaks with travel, that got your season well on track from what it was looking like.

No need to cry

well lets look at last year shall we;

We played all of the the top 4 interstate 4/4

Richmond played one of the top 4 interstate and obviously cant play itself 1/3

Collingwood played one of the top 4 interstate and obviously cant play itself 1/3

You guys are effectively whining that you have to play the top teams at home with no advantage - where we play the top teams interstate with a major disadvantage.

Sigh. OK.

So all those home games you have and there is only 1 team you play that doesn’t have to travel isn’t an advantage to WC hey?
That’s the biggest unearned advantage in the competition, you only have to win a couple of away games and gifted a finals birth, and you seem to think you are hard done by. You better hope this Covid thing doesn’t impact the finances to the extent they need to cut back expenses to the bone, I’m sure flying teams to and from the West is up there when our competition could function just as well without them. And to us you guys are that far away you almost become irrelevant to the rivalry that has been established over a century and more amongst the original clubs. Even when State footy was on it was always Vic v SA, WA wasn’t ever in the same ballpark with regards to the interest. It’s like you now, trying so hard to be relevant when those of us over here don’t really care when we have so many teams that are genuine rivals. Honestly, the only true rival you guys have is Freo. They could cut you from the competition to save costs and I don’t think many outside of Perth would lose any sleep over it.
you do realise that for every home game where we get an advantage is equalled by an away game with the exact same disadvantage dont you?

added to that there is a huge travel burden that guarantees we drop an easy game at home after a hard fought game away at least once or twice a year....

Ho hum
The Bulldogs play way too many games at Etihad
Oh it’s their home ground
And nobody’s too worried about the Bulldogs
The Gold Coast , prior to this season , had to travel every second , can you believe it , clearly not fair
Oh that’s right , nobody gives a flying ^*%% about the GC
