Totally agree and that is why umpires call must be removed. Let the ARC make the decision on its own without having to lean one way or the other. Without umpires call the ARC would of called goal which would of been the correct decision.

That’s as close to conclusive evidence as you’re gonna get with the shit technology they’re using, if it was any clearer then it would be obvious enough for the umpire to get it right in the first place. This competition is a farce.

The ARC is a complete waste of time. That was a clear miss but until they upgrade the cameras to get the frame by frame analysis the ARC will defer to umpire's call. Predictable semi final result incoming. Saints played their grand final first week they don't have the cattle or the desire to knock off Richmond.

The problem is in AFL it can't show conclusive evidence of those slight touches or non touches.

That's why reviews in ball sports (except for white lines) are bullsh!t. 5 minutes watching endless bloody loops that proved 2/5ths of f*ck all.

And I know it went my team's way, but if it had gone against them I woiuldn't have complained. Because I'm 2,000 K away, watching on a small screen, when there's a bloke standing 1 metre away watching closely.

Unless it's a clear ****-up(like a clear white line - and that wasn't clear) - leave it to the bloke on the spot.

3 different angles at full speed and my eyes told me it looked touched, see the deviation clearly.

It was touched and it was obvious. You could even see a change in Vlastuin's hand shape in one frame as it touched the ball.

People in this thread are letting their emotions get the better of them.
