Yup bulldogs have injuries which means even though they’re top of the ladder with a percentage of over 150, and have handed out not one but two 100+ beltings to teams Melbourne could barely beat by a handful of goals, including one thrashing to the Saints just last week (without most of their injured players), they’re the underdogs. And obviously it would be a massive failure by Melbourne to lose against such an average opponent. Makes sense. Because Melbourne’s incredible form demonstrated by falling over the line against mid-table stragglers like Carlton and Sydney, barely overcoming a winless North and losing to a bottom 4 Adelaide is so impressive!

What a load of bullshit.

Can’t wait for the inevitable pile on when Melbourne drop this one (“kissed on the dick all year!/ never beat anyone good!/ told you they were crap, i knew it all along!/ It’s North 2016 all over again!/ so cocky too!”), no doubt from the same flogs saying Melbourne should win this comfortably.

Dees need a massive change of form to challenge the dogs right now but they should put us away easily. Hoping for a close game and no injuries to either side please!

Carn Dees!

That's a wonderful melt, sir.

What's the current covid situation over there lads? Is there a real risk this game won't go ahead? Or just no crowds.

The talk is that crowds will be at 85% and the roof will be open.

All dogs players/staff have come back clear.

So are Melbourne a good side or not?

We’re very clearly behind a few teams at the moment.

Who?

This thread is a classic, usually you get shit talking from club's fighting for top spot about how good they are and putting down the oppositon - Melbourne and Footscray supporters are so damaged we're shit talking ourselves down and looking for excuses before the games even been played.

I've been looking forward to this one since after we beat the Tigers and I reckon the players have too. Should be a cracker hope the two sides put on a show and hope we can actually go to the game. Would be a shame to see 1 vs 2 played in from of an empty stadium. Also I hope Melbourne supporters turn out I know we usually don't like going to Docklands but get there and support the team.
