No it didn't. It hit the ground and bounced on. You can see no movement in Langdon's foot from a hit to it and his foot was raised higher than the ball.

Well, he has to actually teach them to kick and handball properly. They seemed the worst-skilled team under Lyon. Definitely a lot better in that regard. They're building but yeah, poor effort in the second half today.

WC never lacked contested ball winning ability with Yeo, Sheed, Shuey and Redden plus Naitanui's ground level work. We recuited Kelly because (a) he wanted to come back to WA and (b) was a goalkicking mid at Geelong who was able to play inside and outside the centre square combo.

We need his inside work currently with players out injured, yes.
