The run and gun works well for north and troubles Sydney. Makes them give away silly free kicks
Think it troubles most teams when its delivered with good pressure. Glad this isnt a training drill and so far feels like a good rehearsal for what we will have next week against the pies

Haven’t watched most of the game, 2nd quarter to now. How many Swans players are bein allowed to show descent to umpiring decisions? I’ve seen three so far, Franklin, McCartin and another.

Umpire 31 Paul Rebeschini needs to be dropped, neutral watcher here and Rampe clearly hand balled. Then he wouldn’t let Simpkin go further BEHIND the mark which he is allowed to do When on an angle. Sack him.

Ziebell just needs to give the game away
Agreed. At best he was a slow mid who could kick goals. He seems a good team man and bloke but if you are going to keep experience in your team to guide the young guys you need someone who can get a kick. It would be heartbreaking as a young fella to try your guts out and then see guys gifted games when their output doesn’t deserve it

JHF most hyped and most disappointing number 1 pick.
Hasn’t adjusted to AFL. Plays as if he is still in the SANFL.

And offers zero in leadership

I reckon he'll be alright Vinnie, has all the physical tools. Just unfortunately went to a rabble of a club, he'll be right once he goes to a club that's in better nick. I don't just mean the team, I mean the staff, the stability, the leadership etc. All plays a big part in development.

I think you’re right.
It’s disappointing for those kids they are at a club with no real leadership.
Powell is another example of a young player who should be a lot better than what he’s showing.
Goldstein is the only senior player who you could look up to (also Cunnington). The rest are just so uninspiring.
Wouldn’t blame any of them wanting out.
They desperately need Clarko to go there.
